we are heading ATH 0.027 guys hold tight

I had a dream the other day, when it was 0.011 that it would go 0.0134... and it went... (actually it went beyond that).

Today I had a dream of "0.036".

I tend to dream things like that, but they usually have varying degree of accuracy. I've also dreamt of 18.000$ btc in 2016 a few months ago - if that happens it'll be pretty interesting.

Now, if DRK is around 0.05 by that time, we could be seeing 1000$ DRKs...

In terms of fundamentals, DRK needs to capture just 2% of BTC's marketcap (2016) of such a 18k BTC scenario (~250bn market cap) which would make it a ~5bn coin / ~5mn coins in circulation => ~1000$/DRK.

BTC at 18,000 $ ?

In my book BTC is dead and won't be at 1000$ again instead of using dash feature.

There's definitively more chance to see an higher price on Dash than BTC

I think the breakthrough for Bitcoin will be a bond market meltdown and subsequent credit crunch.

The breakthrough for Dash will be a Litecoin meltdown when it finally fractures its support line of 0.006 after hammering off it a few times.

EDIT: LoL. Just as I wrote that, the Litecoin ratio became:

The main dev for Bitcoin doesn't think like Evan, which will ultimately been the downfall in the "price" of Bitcoin and the rise of a new crypto. Bitcoin will still be around and be used everywhere. But it won't have the same features or price that Dash has. Remember when everyone was using Microsoft and then Apple came along? This is what will happen to Bitcoin. Look at Microsoft stock vs Apple stock. Microsoft still today has more users, but Apple is worth more.

BTC isn't dead. We are looking at this from an altcoin-perspective of "innovation", "privacy" etc etc. BTC is still leaps ahead of traditional financial systems like swift, banks, paypal etc and its adoption is just starting. As adoption increases, so does its network effect and price. Besides, even as a store of value, it'll be far better than most national currencies and it will also continue to be a hedge for precious metal owners (could be something like 8-10 trillion market cap) that have to endure the manipulation of that particular market.

However DRK (and some altcoins), has/have even larger potential of expansion, if things go well.

When DRK overtakes LTC, it's possible that all hell will break loose price-wise (for DRK). People simply do not understand the scarcity of DRK. There are no 28800 DRKs produced every day like LTC. It's more like <1/10th of them.

And what about possible ASIC scrypt miner breakdown? This will surely follow any price depreciations especially for litecoin, a scramble for the exits in order to maintain income,  when not economic and can't sell the hardware and other alts for dumping onto like feathercoin are no longer scrypt ..

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Anyone know which logo is the current leader in the voting.... 1,2,...,8 ?

View results at https://www.darkcoinfoundation.org/vote-logo

atm #1: 67%, #7: 51%, #8: 24%

Though I'm confused, in the darkcoin talk thread #1 shows arrows inside the S, which spoil it for me, whereas the vote page shows it without the arrows, have they been dropped? If so it will be one of my two votes, thanks to anyone who can clarify.

I know Dash innovates, but 142% total votes is very innovative  Huh

the fact that everyone gets 2 votes would mean that the total percentage could equal 200%. seems pretty obvious to me but I like maths.

Good read and quite a good quote at the end of it:

"We really need a “change” for real. This is the PUBLIC v PRIVATE eternal battle. It is always driven by the eternal sea of politics. Can we ever break this repetitive cycle and take that one small step for human kind?"

It is easier to be an aggressive victim than to be a free man.

It is quite fun to be trolled by the trolls of small cap coins like Trollero (Monero), it will get hilarious when Dash topples Litecoin.

So another two weeks or so  Grin

Ah yes, here it is:

He is quick to call scam but invested any ways.

Well theres no other way to say it but the truth, I mean I'm not going to lie even though I am invested as you say, market wise as well, though I just ride out the dumps and get ready for the pumps. The usual speculation daytrading. Theres no explanations for the instamine other than extreme incompetence or a deliberate scam.

Did you sell those domain names by the way?

To other users on bitcointalk yes.

Oh, ok.

Are you selling any Dash domain names?

i got a couple domain names if you're interested :

Oh, yeah.

That really is pretty sweet.

This is SWOT in action.  A weakness was turned into a huge opportunity. How coincidental that Dash can also spell cash with the right twist of the D.

I really do believe that this can be a massive opportunity for mass adoption. Its one of those talking points that gets you to remember Dash.

Great work everyone.

(I would still have voted for the branding to be otohcoin.  Maybe we can have this as a discussion point every 600 pages)
