Welcome!  I feel like I'm so ahead of the rest of the world by diving into crypto.  The longer I'm here, the more I realize this is world changing.  Possibly more so than the Internet was.  Glad you're here.  Don't forget, we have something called testnet, and if you like, you can join us there to help test out the new features.  But more importantly, you can play with the wallet and the coins, send/receive, try things out, etc.... things you'd be too afraid to do with your "real" coins.  It's the best and fastest way to become an old pro!

everybody should be aware that any cryptocurrency (incl. bitcoin) is still in its early adopter phase and may be completely worthless some day.

for me its a mixture of loving tech and have fun at speculating what keeps me here. anybody investing serious money should consider himself a VC.

I would like to thank Darkcoin and the people behind it for funding my extended vacation.  I am looking forward to enjoying the upcoming summer and the trips I will be taking funded by profits from trading Darkcoin.  At this point I do not care about the launch, distribution, or future of Darkcoin.  All I care about is the profit I have recently made.

What people need to understand about crypto is that none of these coins are ever going to see any kind of widespread adoption as a form of payment.  They are all just speculative ponzi investments.  One thing I know is that whenever you have people with the financial means and a determination to make a profit they likely will.  That's why I bought back into Darkcoin back in early February.  I knew a pump was coming and all I needed to do was sit back and wait for a little while and I would double my money.  I did just that.  I doubled my money.  My only regret is not risking more but I like to stay diversified so I never put all my eggs in one basket.  It's a strategy that has proven to be successful for me and one that I will never change.

I plan on using some of the profit that I have recently made off Darkcoin to make several trips this summer.  If anyone wants to meet up for a drink I'll be in Manhattan, Orlando, Ft Lauderdale, Chicago, New Orleans, and Los Angeles for sure.  My plans might change slightly because I might just drive across America.   It's something I've always wanted to do.  But I'll be in those cites at some point for sure.   PM me if you want to meet for a drink.  I might be driving through you're town.

I don't think that all coins are equally ponzi investments, but all are certainly speculative, and all likely to go to zero (and I've said that about other coins too).

I'd like to see if this new squaky-clean DASH branding includes describing it as a speculative ponzi investment. That would be interesting.

Thanks for the respect.  I have a tremendous amount of respect for you as well.  Although yours is much more deserving than mine.  I've been quite a scoundrel on occasion.

We'll see what plays out with this new Darkcoin/Dash.  I've liquidated my holdings in Darkcoin/Dash.  I could be wrong but I think I timed my buy and sell perfectly.  Of course if Darkcoin/Dash goes up I could have made more.  I'm content with what I've done and the pump is likely over.  You can't sustain a rise without something to back it up.  All I see is a name change and some additional marketing.  Nothing that would make me hold longer.
