Wait isn't this where I'm supposed to tell you to prove you can deanonymize darksend exploit Monero with a buffer overflow or GTFO?

Quote
As Peter Todd indicated, fix your own problems before thinking you have the right to go around trying to tear down other projects, just because they are doing better

That code was replaced last year BTW. There wasn't even a buffer overflow exploit in it (at least not one that anyone has found); Peter was wrong. There was a logic bug, but it wasn't a overflow

Everyone knows about this.  At least 70% of Darkoin/Dash is controlled by five or six people.
I think that was true last spring... But things have slowly changed.... I know at least  a couple dozen people in my local area that are 20k to 40k dark holders... Certainly there's some really bigger fish then this as with any of these small market cap coins.  Any real  world average investor could easily own half of any of these coins as per their market cap.   I know several local investors in traditional stocks and bonds type that could buy out most every single one of the alt coins on their own.

Most on here think in 10s of thousands USD as sizable investments... and this is nothing in the real world.... Hell one of buddies who's a fund Manger out here won't even look at you if your not bringing half a million to million  portfolio.

This is why I still see big growth on here because it really is quite small numbers in the big skeem of things.  This is just so small all alt coins... It's the peewee leagues.  Wink

Don't pay much attention to shojax. He sold all his coins and made maybe a few thousand dollars and took a 2-3 week vacation. Now he is back trolling trying to lower the price so he can buy back in. Why else would he be here trolling? This is not the first time he has done this and won't be the last.

LOL shojay is back again. Prepare to a new ATH. Wink

I could spend all day going over how fantastic a job Monero is doing, but, you know, real life happens rather than spending time trying to throw mud.

I'll leave the last word to the Monero developers:

----

That said, it's simply not acceptable for us (to echo your words) to put lipstick on a pig and ship a GUI that is pleasant enough, but takes 4 days to sync from scratch, requires 6+gb of RAM, sucks a ton of bandwidth, and is accepted nearly nowhere.

We will deliver a proverbial work of art, but it requires building out parts of the foundation that we had previously viewed as less of a priority (until the 202612 attack). Oh, and we're doing it on like no money, so there's that.

Finally, a sensible comment and a dose of reality.

+101

The last time Monero shills got out of hand and started a mud slinging match, they ended up being attacked on a number of different levels. I don't advocate anything like that, but you'd think they would have learnt from the experience. But then again, desperation has a funny way of clouding people's judgement.

Lol the Trollero fans about again i see.

Hey smooth why don't you go work on that Official GUI wallet? If you think dark/dash is a scam so be it, leave it at that and move on. You sound more and more desperate everyday, its just sad bro.

Wait, wait wait wait. Are you telling me Monero STILL fucking doesn't have an Official GUI wallet? That was like the first fucking thing on the to do list. How hard can it be wow what a bunch of incompetent devs.

The todo list (priorities anyway) was changed after the coin was attacked. Fundamentals come first, and third parties can pick up the slack on wallets and such (with some funding provided by the core team). There are 5 third party GUI wallets.

The better question is why are you spamming your own coin's thread with Monero information?

I already caught smooth lying about the monero wallet features twice so take everything he says with a grain of salt.

There are at least 5 usable wallets.

P.S. This may be your idea of 'useable' but it isn't most people's.

I was not even including the command line wallet, though it is certainly usable by many. There are five graphical wallets listed here, and I think the list is missing one or two:

https://moneroeconomy.com/news/choose-your-wallet

i burst out laughing so hard when i seen that "wallet" pic. i keep hearing that monero has 3rd party wallets so i went to check it out and it's a total joke. all they got is a few incomplete wallets that either don't have a gui or are web wallets or closed source scams waiting to happen.
it's a total embarrassment for the whole anon crypto scene in general. y'all need to stop fuding darkcoin and put together a halfway decent official gui wallet. y'all need get your priorities straight and get your shit together.
i think it's actually intentional because if people start to actually use monero the massive bloating will cause monero folks computers to explode in their mom's basements worldwide.

You either completely ignorant or lying. Not a single one of the third party wallets is closed source, and every one is a GUI. Even MyMonero which isn't "officially" open source is effectively open source because you can see the JavaScript in your browser.

(the only "x" below is MyMonero, discussed above)

Nice try to FUD though. Get your facts straight next time and you might get somewhere.

"code will eventually be open sourced"

Q: Which ones of the 6 wallets listed don't have a GUI?

A: None of them

buzz...wrong answer again.

apology accepted!
with all the time you spent trolling drk you could have thrown together an official, open sourced, gui desktop wallet.

Oops. I agree, I screwed up. I never realized simple wallet was even on that chart! I thought it was only third party ones listed...

Still, there are 5 GUI wallets and 4 fully-open source wallets there.

TLDR: First, smooth tried to claim none of the wallets were closed score so i provide screenshots that proved they were.
Second, smooth tried to claim all the wallets were GUI and again i provide screenshots proving another monero lie.
Third, smooth apologized after getting caught lying again.

I like it here. You guys are cute. Half are misguided and think everything is just all on the up and up here. Half know its a instamine/premine/ponzi scam but don't care as long as they can flip their coins at a higher price and hope to dump them on someone else before the day of reconing. It's all quite amusing.

Plus of course it gets Monero a lot of free exposure when you guys bring it up for OT advertising spam, even though I never do.

Coming soon...

The truth about the monero instamine and crippled miner scam.

I'm still researching but i found some devestang stuff already. I need to catch up on the last walking dead episode and ufc fight night 62 and i'll be back.

If you (monero) stop trolling DRK/DASH i won't make a huge deal out of it or start a whole thread about what i've uncovered. If you continue trolling though the gloves will come off, you have been warned.

I own a masternode again Smiley

It might be my last one ever depending on price but I'm glad I have my foot in the door.

I managed to buy some coins, received a sum from a certain company involved in my fateful betting spree and also a really touching amount of donations from the community.  Thank you all!

Now...payment from my current clients isn't due until May...I wonder how many coins I will get for my money then  Cheesy

Since we are on the topic of tweets, let's find one that's not six months old shall we? Might be interesting to some people here who aren't completely

Guys...he seems to be right on this one...Peter Todd seems to have changed his mind and to like Monero now, so don`t spread older - now irrelevant  -tweets, or you would not be any better than "FUDers".

That said, the instamine story is so incredibly old and boring...I read that stuff like a year ago, I did not profit from it, I have the impression it was a honest mistake, I`m fine with it...please @smooth, accept that not everyone sees it as a scam like you do.

Please, this is not a Monero forum. Most of us don't care about this coin anymore.

Create a new thread to do wherever you want, but not here.
You are giving exposure that they don't deserve.
