Me two...looks like building a base like the old mtgox days! Hmmm
Thats a seriously monster chart for sure … you can almost hear the distant roar of momentum building under it … [ Full disclosure: I develop trading software, I day trade, and nothing I say should ever be confused with investment advice lol ] The roar getting intense...take care if you are waiting to buy.

Is there a graph showing masternode count from the beginning till now?
You can draw a graph from this list MN deployed 1 may 2 june 24 july 54 aug 101 sept 72 oct 121 nov 496 dec 2014 347 jan 205 feb 109 mar That only adds up to 1532. Where are the rest?

...allow the NSA to deanonymize transactions, ie the NSA could continuously buy up coins, regardless of price, until enough masternode owners cash out (rich as f*ck) and the NSA then makes up the vast majority of mn's.
JL
Why would they bother to run nodes ? That would just be providing service to the network. For that matter, why wouldn't they just buy up the entire coin supply of any crypto including bitcoin and take it off the market if it's only a question of having limitless budget ? Well put tok, as always! Also running a Masternode will become useless for information gathering purposes thanks to blinding anyway. So what's the big fuss with the NSA? Thick skulls, really.

How is this blinding going to work? LMFAO .. the nodes will need to communicate with the network and each other, sniffing traffic from one node will yield other nodes..... WOW THICK SKULLS.

That's a bad analogy. They don't buy up all bitcoin, warranting it useless, for the same purpose that they don't completely shutdown the internet... They need it for information-gathering. Hypothetically though they're getting zero information from Dash transactions without owning a shit-ton of mn's, hence they would need to buy up the coin supply to potentially tap into it.

Again - I think JL was posing a genuine point. I don't think he's a "thick skull". There are loads of possibilities when you've got hypothetical attack vectors at your disposal. How they play out in practice I don't know. The fiat banking system leaks like a seive and is probably the poorest security model you could imagine in your wildest dreams. Yet the whole world runs on it. Every time I use a cash machine I reflect to myself on how totally stone age it feels compared to any crypto - yet I still use it without a worry. It's a legitimate question - that business of the "NSA" commandeering masternodes, but what most people miss is that the challenge isn't taking control of the machine, it's taking control of the coin supply which is a prerequisite. That's a question of budget and market liquidity and it brings us into a domain of consideration that goes beyond any one coin. I look at that scenario as "the NSA vs all of crypto" because that's how they would look at it. Each cryptocurrency has different strengths and weaknesses and different types of market appeal. The only defence any of them have against being "bought up" is the very market diversity that we fight over in these stupid troll debates.

Evening, hope the world of Otoh is doing hunky dory I can't resist asking, have you got any immediate plans for further wall extensions in the near future, should we prepare ourselves in the appropriate manner just in case ? Evening, many thanks, yep everything in the world of Otoh is always sunny https://goo.gl/tRvrs Even when BTer isn't giving me back the CNY/DRK that I requested a withdrawal on 11 days ago as yet I've had no walls, or even bids, up since the 200 BTC worth at 0.0145 & it's nice to see the price just doing what the market wants with absolutely no input from me at all. I'm always looking at my hand and the game in general, so could decide to up my bets at any time if it looks good in the moment, but rather than placing lower walls it's more likely to be large buys at market plus walls at the top in this hotter environment, the same as I did last time, if I think that the price has slipped back too far relative to value. But anything is possible and I won't be sitting on the sidelines for too long I expect My lord ...hope the BTer issue is only matter of time. Many thanks, also to Sub-Ether, I am in communication with them at least and remain hopeful that it will soon be resolved, tungfa has very kindly offered his support and that of the Chinese social media groups there if necessary.
