Good luck with the madoff nodes, your groupthink and confirmation bias is quite a sight to behold.
*Can't believe you guys are bragging about iphone over android.. real technical crowd here.
From a former Darkcoin supporter, that insanely jumped ship to Spreadcoin like a lunatic (for those who don't know, a lame Darkcoin masternode fork/clone that promised the world with PoS Maternode scheme and failed miserably) ... and now comes back on the opposite field trashing Dash... ... well ... Thats the thing with history. Once recorded it can't really be changed. How is Spreadcoin doing by the way? What's the dev up to these days ? Relax Ghost, some very nice people are now working very hard on Spreadcoin: Coins, Chaositec, Stonehedge, etc. We owe a lot to some of these people so please show some respect

It has a tendency to do that with certain programs for example it blocked putty and winscp initiaĺly too with me, i had to make exceptions for them. I have exceptions for Dash as well, just make sure you always download from official source, never from any direct download links as those can be modified to lead to fake dash versions.

EB95 – Adam Back: Why Bitcoin Needs A Measured Approach To Scaling.(first 15 mins is a bit slow, gets going) '45% of the transactions are less than $1 value.'https://youtu.be/wYHyR2E5Picand supporting stat predictions in case you missed it, http://bitfury.com/content/5-white-papers-research/1-bitfury-report-on-block-size-increase/bitfury-report-on-block-size-increase.pdflook at table 2 on page 4. At 32 meg block,1 full node giving only 112 transactions per second has 4.6 GB chain growth per day,397GB usage traffic and a block verification time =6.8 seconds The block verification time goes from 0.15 seconds @ 1 MB block until 6.8 seconds @ 32 MB block, hence a bigger block will result in increasingly poor verification times and does not scale.

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release. Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5% Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1) = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

12:30 AM xxx otoh, are you selling DASH so the price drops or is it by itself? 12:34 AM otoh I decided to do some controlled burning just now, rather than let the price drift down I cleared out all the bids from 0.01 to 0.009 and am moving the BTC to USD for my $2 bid wall, I think this may help but who knows - the market always is right and will decide when and where the price goes. The bids are repopulating now somewhat, I'm actually super optimistic for the prospects of DASH, but if the market wants to see how low it can go that's fine by me, when it finds out I expect a mega bounce, I may even precipitate it as I have approx $0.5MM war chest atm should I choose to use it or some. 12:35 AM xxx What's $0.5MM war chest? 12:36 AMOh, I looked it up, nvm 12:36 AM otoh 5,000 Bengies 12:38 AM xxx $2 is my entry price, wouldn't feel comfortable if it went lower 12:39 AM otoh it won't, don't worry, I'm very happy to buy back at that price and will not pull the wall 12:39 AM xxx ok, thank you for the extensive info 12:40 AM otoh I actually doubt very much it will even get reached, it's 0.008285 with BTC @ $241.40

12:41 AM otoh but if it does get nibbled that's cool by me, would take very deep pockets of DASH to eat it and there just aren't that many of them bought cheaper left around to dump 12:42 AM xxx What is the latest news in DASH world? Haven't been following it 12:42 AM big white paper release in Amsterdam early next month and Evan plus bunch of ppl meeting up there, me as well 12:43 AM a vid promo being released 12:43 AM xxx Cool, pity I can't come 12:43 AM otoh a big --- splash, not announced as yet and a very tasty --- to coincide from me, also under wraps still 12:44 AM Evan presenting to the FinTech group there with luck & other meet ups planned 12:44 AM xxx Nice 12:45 AM otoh the Masternode blockchain voting governance was just a day or two ago & proved a success, a first for crypto 12:45 AM something that BTC sorely needs of course 12:47 AM but can't implement 12:48 AM xxx It is implementing it but slowly 12:49 AM otoh lol, yes, like their confirmations ;-)

Probably bad news for everyone running their nodes with "masternode start" (i.e. using local dash.conf): I guess there's a bug with masternode self-activation somewhere. If you are using local dash.conf to start your remote masternode do NOT run this local wallet while masternode=1 is still in local dash.conf, I think it will try to self-activate for some reason and will drop your node to the end of the queue. Either set it to masternode=0 before you run it OR better option would be to use masternode.conf even if you only have one masternode. Sorry about that PS. Code there became a bit messy actually because of many different options. I think we should stop using this one, clean it up and stick to masternode.conf method only to activate remote nodes while old dash.conf method should only be used for activating local Hot masternodes from now. PPS. Users with masternode.conf setup should not be affected by this. https://dashtalk.org/threads/v12-release.5888/page-52#post-66578

The true irony is knowing about this project so early in it's life and not seeing what is right in front of you. That's going to sting in five years... "Superblocks?" Are you kidding? They're not a joke? Aren't those something you'd play with in preschool? And now you're going to just make up the emission as you go along, "Because Superblocks?" Oh wait, you've been doing that since the beginning. At least now you're being less dishonest about Dash's ad hoc, dev-enriching, non-algorithmic emission. Who needs masternode blinding when you have "Superblocks?" I know what Darkcoin AKA Dash is/is not, and I'm not alone. Peter Todd calls dash "snake oil."Peter Todd calls dash's instant-x fake.Peter Todd calls dash "bad crypto."darkcoin or however it will be called next year is not a decentralized entity.
this currency is lead by a single person.
darkcoin is like an old conservative company with strong hierarchical comamnd structures and a single person on the top of the pyramid.
fuck this i tell you.
darkcoin is not decentralized as it still relies on a single person.
the core devs were just a bunch of volunteers exploited for the big thing.
the things going on here are fishy, intransparent and rely on a single entity.
you are probably investors trying to win a gold donkey. or you are simply trying to exploit every possible vector of profit in the coins space. whatever. you are not here because darkcoin is something it claims to be.
what if evan duffield suddenly announces he quits the project tomorrow morning?
