Facebook’s Libra was officially revealed the other day and government officials have already announced that they want Facebook’s venture into cryptocurrency investigated, regulated, or a little bit of both, but its potential success does not have historical precedent.

Why we should pay atention and money to invest in Libra while we already have better crypto currency, that is more private, DASH. Personally, I don't want to offend Libra but I don't see reason to invest into Libra, or use if for transactions. There are so much noises and drama on Libra, one of them guess that Libra will end with failures, that I agree with.

Dash Accepting Salamantex Inks Multi-firm Payments Terminal Deal

Salamantex, which Dash Embassy DACH on-boarded earlier this year to integrate Dash into their cryptocurrency POS system, has formed a partnership with A1 Payment, Ingenico, and Concardis to accept a variety of digital payments.

Bitcoin transaction fees have passed median Dash transaction values, suggesting small payments moving to the more usable network.

It's a very impressive figure. Altcoins give lower transaction fees, compared to bitcoin. I think that if users don't want to use Lightning Network, altcoins, includes DASH is better for them to move their funds from wallets to exchanges, from exchanges to exchanges, or from casinos to exchanges, and vice versa.

Looks like Dash is slowly moving towards the $200 and increasing its marketcap along the way.
Dash price will most likely grow explosively and exponentially, once the Dash Price (BTC) finds a bottom against the rising Bitcoin price (currently at $10,699).

Here is also an overview of some of the top performing altcoin cryptocurrencies, who have all seen their price in btc dropped during Bitcoin's price rise :



Conclusion : Dash is doing pretty good during this strong Bitcoin rise.

Is there a way to recover a stuck blockchain faster? Something like a command to set the blockchain back to a certain height or something?

Started Wallet v13.1 today and blockchain synch got stuck.
Updated to v14..stayed stuck for several minutes till my patient run out.
Deleted the whole blockchain.

Synchroniced the whole blockchain (5 years 22 week, 11.5GByte) in 1hour and 20 minutes. That's not bad! Nevertheless would like to know a way around this. For other coins I know synchronicing the whole blockchain could take days or weeks or in case of coins like ethereum it is close to impossible without at least haveing a kingsized fast ssd.

I only know of the Dash bootstrap to help you with downloading the whole blockchain again : https://github.com/UdjinM6/dash-bootstrap
Unfortunetely you will still need to sync from start to end and i dont know anything that can help you save time with the sync itself
(besides having the blockchain on a SSD drive)

Most cryptocurrency fans care deeply about adoption. Until they experience it, at least.

As someone living in one of the premier cryptocurrency hotspots in the world, I’ve seen people react with wonder when hearing about just how much you can actually spend your digital coins in the real world. People talk about it on podcasts, conference panels, write articles, and so on. This is the amazing thing we’ve all been waiting for: real use. Then something strange happens with many. They experience it firsthand. Initially blown away, eventually they lose that enthusiasm, sometimes even getting a bit jaded. What happened? Did they believe something that experience later told them was a lie? Well, not exactly, no. The truth is that moving cryptocurrency adoption forward is far less glamorous than it sounds, and the reality replaces a far more attractive fantasy.
