Just one question:
When is "Darksend" going to be implemented?
Ive updated my wallet but i dont see any option to use darksend?

I depends what wallet you have. If you have the stable wallet (0.9.3.4) Darksend won't be there. If you have the release candidate (0.10.7.4) it is automatically enabled. There is currently a limit of 10DRK when using Darksend, although that will be increased soon.

OK, i thought the latest RC had been released as the main version.

Edit: I'm actually more worried about this mystery-entity (which bought even more today) selling and crashing the coin more than anything else (http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/address.dws?188207.htm)

An exchange ?

Yep, after examining the block transactions this address was involved in, and seeing many many MintPal addresses being used to deposit an odd variety of amounts into it on every occasion, I believe it's just another MintPal master address.

maybe mintpal coldstorage?

Sorry everyone for the delay in responding.  I really do like this pamphlet / display.  we will be accepting Darkcoin... before we even accept Bitcoin... just cause we can!   I'll have a look at any other submissions and make a decision in the morning.   I would like to post this on our Facebook page as well as Twitter. Any graphics should keep this in mind.   I'll post up the wining payment advert on our cover page for Facebook and our wine club news letter this coming month.

Should make a bounty to get someone from Elance.com to write a legit clone of the darkcoin site and white paper all in mandarin.
https://www.elance.com/r/contractors/q-mandarin/

Could also get a translation of the front page of this thread and post it in the Chinese section

I don't necessarily think this is the best idea, other than for our short term interests.  I want to see healthy growth in the coin like we've seen since the beginning.  If it over reacts massively and then ends in a bubble burst, it will actually shy away a large base of potential investors.

Also, brining China into the market is exactly that.  We'll be bringing China and all their bullshit regulatory stances into the scene as well.  We don't need that right now if we really want this going to get where it deserves to be.  Just my 2 cents.

I do like this one.  Aggggh... I just posted my reply to this without quoting this original post.  damn it.   anyway... we will be using this on our Facebook and Twitter and our new revamped site.  when we pick this tomorrow morning   I'll ask for your wallet Addy to send you ur funds.   I'd also be super stoked about a POS system with a dark coin pay option... any ideas?

Hi Everyone,

I have decided to be the first retail business to accept DarkCoin.  We are a single vineyard small lot wine producer in the Okanagan Valley, BC Canada.  I need some peeps to send us a logo for us to promote Darcoin at our till.  You can see our winery at www.facebook.com/misconductwineco (website is getting a make over) and on twitter @misconductwines

I'll put up 50 DRK for someone to help us with designing a POS display by our till and we'll take photos of my staff and I....with DarkCoin logos throughout our wineshop.  As well as promoting DarkCoin as a payment option for our new to be released online retail store for the winery.  We could negotiate further payment for help to design a portal page on the site for DarkCoin payments.

Thanks guys! Look forward to accepting DarkCoins at our shop. Grin

Rich

Simple design. But replace the QR code with your address.

Hi Taurine
thanks I could use this too.   I'll be announcing that we will officially accept Darkcoin tomorrow  morning.   we will post pictures with our staff with the winning POS stand.  Hell I'll buy the first bottle of wine with my own darkcoin.... of my own Wine... lol

I generated BIP38 paper wallets with 1000 coins each on them. I was planning to import the keys into the wallet on the masternode (or on the cold storage machine). If it has to be address 0 will this be problematic?

yes. sorry for the confusion. one must issue the command getaccountaddress 0. This will be the 0 or whatever its called for the master node payment to be sent to.

0 is acount name.
I think setaccount will do.

Code:
getaccountaddress <account>

setaccount <darkcoinaddress> <account>
setaccount <darkcoinaddress> 0

This big trading volume the past days. Could it be someone (karpeles) trying to launder the stolen btcs from mt gox? Maybe by buying drk for btc, then selling drk for btc. Thoughts? How else can we explain such volumes? Ps im holding my drk for at least a year.

An article now about maxcoin and smurfcoin man coindesk is failing hardcore right now lmfao

Coindesk isn't even a big deal....I have never went on their site to be honest. I'm also sure they get paid to write articles about certain coins. Fake news website.

Exactly. I've never visited Coindesk for news or information or whatever the hell it is they do. Move on, kiddos.

Coindesk brings NO added-value of innovation to the world of crypto, and will therefore become negligible in the future. They might think they are lords right now, but history repeats itself.
They are the same as-
TheStreet.com, Red Herring and Techrunch in the internet bubble and Social Networks age.
Once kings; Now ordinary website out of many.
