Please note (because this confused people last time) GMT is not the UK's current time zone - UK is currently on British Summer Time. This is the current time in GMT:

The diversification by country and ISP is looking healthy. Way more in Europe this time and less amazon servers. Brilliant.

Non-technical coin. Use OZC to intro coins to everyday aussies: http://ozziecoin.com

Awesome over 300 masternodes now, and rising fast. There was only ~230 when I was setting mine up yesterday.

What's with the shitty CLOAK stealing all of DRK's thunder? They literally cloned the !@#$%^&* and reskinned the wallet and are promising "full decentralization", of course ETA is unknown.

Can someone confirm this is the future of crypto? A bunch of sad clones? Are we fucked?

Pumpers just don't care. They need a new target to dump for making profit. It's really hard and required a lot of money to pump & dump DRK now. Check twitter of such pumpers groups. They're promoting shitcoins every day. Who lost money? Of course naive users. Who wins? The pumpers. It is clearly as daylight but a lot of people are just blind before greed.

CryptCoin was at 250k yesterday, now it's at 150k exactly as I predicted. Enjoy the pump and dump scam coins and put the profits into DRK for long term growth  Grin

+1

I spend most of my days riding the waves of these scamcoins and putting the profits back into the real ones like DRK.

Nothing would make me happier than one day having enough clout to crush these coins before they even begin...

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

hello there is a a backdoor in the version 10.8.8 i have been stolen 999 dark coin from my master node
here is my wallet address http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/address.dws?XfNfxwfQpVKccGprG6PdRWT2UtMGoM9gCL.htm

it has been moved to this wallet XwKx3mWB9ncJo5ZudqyEZ1MoQWMSmE3CwP

it seems either the devs or someone who gave the version given on darkcoin.io got a backdoor

here is the log of my masternode server
 st login : from 192.162.103.175

Can you give a little more info, did you have the wallet encrypted? How was your darkcoin.conf setup?

the wallet was encrypted by  a hard password
the wallet was started as use and not root
i have changed the ssh port from 22 to another
installed fail2ban
did all security thing and still got hacked
the starge thing is that it has been sent only 999 and not all of the darks which is 1000.6
the walet that received the dark is XwKx3mWB9ncJo5ZudqyEZ1MoQWMSmE3CwP
is there anything to do to block that wallet adress? before he move it somewhere else and sell ?

I am excited for tomorrow. That being said, PLEASE be careful and secure all of your DRK if you will running a masternode. At these prices 1000 DRK is worth a lot of money! If you are unsure if you are doing things correctly I advise you to wait until you are SURE everything is perfectly secure.

Be safe!

It looks like it, crytpsy just added CLOAK, they probably want to make a quick buck out of it.

How is this even an issue anymore with cold storage masternodes?

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

There is zero risk with cold storage masternodes now - not sure why it was quoted Smiley

Hugely tested non forkable RC3 release which enables Masternode payments with 20% block reward for the Masternodes.

This is non-trivial to do in a fair way that is tamperproof. The network needs to know how to consistently and correctly reject fraudulent blocks.

Remember Bitcoin by default is set up to give the subsidy to only one address.

I would like to know more about it as well!
