that usacryptocoins blog is all FUD, it's such a terrible blog with the author posting articles where he doesn't even have all the facts straight.
Almost as if he doesn't even believe the opinions he's paid to have.

DARKCOIN TO THE MOON!!!

DARKCOIN TO MARS!!!!!

@DARKOTA
Your posts are meaningless. You are someone who self moderates threads with titles such as LITECOIN IS. DEAD - you delete posts that support Litecoin. Therefore you have an agenda, you are deceitful and as such your posts should not be trusted. You delete posts that show any negativity towards the coins you support, you delete posts that show support to other coins you do not support. You are a joke and the community should deem you as deceitful and untrustworthy.

Still wondered what happened though (rhetorical question, obviously nobody knows.)  I understand it forked and the fork did not get rejected by the other nodes?

Any update on when the quote " easy fix " might hit?

About the amount of time it takes it to bottom and those in the know to load back up?

Wonder how many times the same thing can happen and expect to keep  the communities trust?  Already almost every conversation is how this was the last straw for many.  moving on to the competition.

Not me, I am sticking around... but curious how things work out.  Would have been very profitable if you were almost guaranteed a little quick fixable hiccup was going to happen.

Looking forward to a fix.

P.S. When I argue a quick fix is coming and to have confidence people already saying they will never return.

Good luck to us.. Think we need it till things get a little more professional.

Either you believe in the project and the devs or you don't. Complaining here doesn't do any good. Go write some code or get on testnet. Or just be patient. You really expect to have the problem found and fixed and a new release date all within nine hours? Can we say "unrealistic expectations?"

I believe that this is often the case with true innovation. It's hard to pave the way with a new idea and often a lot of problems rise during the process. It's good though, and a sign that one is on to something important and stable. One could also argue that a lot of darks competition is likely to want dark to fail and maybe they've bought masternodes with the intention to create issues. I would have done the same thing if I was them. But it's good with some  resistance from the other communities. It's proof that they fear dark which just means that they deep down inside know that Evan is on to something here Smiley

You probably don´t have an idea how MN works, how many of them are there and how much it will cost (if ever possible, of which i doubt)

Also... more evidence that someone is paying good BTC to hire DRK trolls.
Actually I wrote that one for my blog without payment, none of the articles people pay for go on my blog.
Hmm. Undecided Well, I don't have any way of confirming or denying that, but you must admit that given the extraordinary bias of the article, your post history, limited grasp of the subject, as well as it happening in the middle of a major co-ordinated troll attack it does look a tad suspicious. What does "no masternode payment yet" mean?

- masternode payments don't work?
- masternode payments not activated?
- masternode payments working/in progress but still need time for first MN payment to go through? (if this: Why?)

DRK = failed!

Go fuck yourelf!

Yes, totally different solutions...that don't do anonymity, just do something that sounds like it.
I've reviewed them all, and so have most of us.

Well thats the thing, Darksend is not 100% Anonymous like alot claim it is.

Bump! Gather your cheap DRKs everyone, fix coming soon.

[01:51] <evan82> http://pastebin.com/QmbM8dPH
[01:51] <evan82> I found the problem :-)
[01:51] <evan82> It's actually rather simple to fix
[01:51] <tifozi> ahem
[01:52] <evan82> anyone care to guess from the paste? I'm curious
[01:52] <tifozi> checking
[01:52] <tifozi> badVote
[01:53] <evan82> Both votes have the same hash, but they have different votes
[01:53] <evan82> er both blocks*
[01:54] <evan82> Two blocks are solved at nearly the same moment on the network, both are propogated and accepted by the network. In the current implementation both blocks have the same hash, but in these blocks there's some discrepency about who to vote for.
[01:54] <evan82> In one block the miner votes for 88802 and 88803, in the other the miner abstains from voting. When the next block is solved it's based on of one of the older blocks, so half of the network beleives the miner cheated and rejects the block causing a fork.
[01:54] <GNULinuxGuy> nice Cheesy
[01:54] <evan82> The solution to this is rather simple. Any changes to the votes need to also change the hash of the block. The network must not think these two blocks are the same.
[01:54] <tifozi> How come we didnt see this in testnet
[01:54] <tifozi> seems rather simple problem
[01:55] <tifozi> what in mainnet causes it
[01:55] <evan82> Not sure. No one noticed.
[01:55] <qqr> race conditions are hard to witness

HURRAY!  Time for a beer.

lol wahaha funny pictures and gif

today was a big dam flop going to hold on to my darkcoin and see what happens in the next update should be an eye opener. The Dev's need to get a grip and plan the testing in many different ways to ensure all major bugs are gone. the bug they found should have been caught befor the fork went live. it is what it is for now I guess

What does bitcoin offer over LTC?

Acceptance by tens of thousands of stores, including Expedia, TigerDirect, Overstock, etc etc.

Litecoin, on the other hand, is not accepted at any official stores, not one. It's just another alt coin.

Whats up with DRK dump today?

Did all those stores accept Bitcoin 6 months ago?

Patrick Byrne, CEO of Overstock is a big Crypto fan - he has already said he will accept Litecoin when they can.

http://thecoinfront.com/overstock-boss-hints-at-litecoin-adoption/

So if thats all Bitcoin has over Litecoin, I wont worry to much Wink

By your own logic, these two things do not yet matter.

We are in the early days of DRK.

1. Where could you buy $20k worth of LTC a year ago using USD or GBP?

2. Where could you spend LTC anywhere a year ago?

3. What benefits does LTC offer over the other 500 alt-coins?

4. What about over BTC? [ A different mining algorithm? Really? That's it? ]

You can buy $20,000 of any coin on any freaking exchange. Ever heard of cryptsy? Where millions of $ is traded daily, idiot...

LTC has no adoptance, there are no real stores accepting LTC as payments....It  is the most useless coin ever.
