After I changed my masternode privkey, getting it started again I've forgotten do we just start darkcoind on both then once synced start the local masternode and wait or do I 'masternode start' on the remote after that too? Thanks for help guys

Start darkcoind on remote, then do masternode start on local

Thanks
Just thought it was weird that the remote 'masternode' that is constantly online doesn't get its masternode started :/ guess I have to keep reading

If you start masternode without darkcoind running on remote, you'll get "Cannot reach port 9999 on local server" (it means remote server)...because darkcoind isn't running (listening) you can't bind to it.

I was hoping someone could answer my questions.

1. If you use Darksend, it is possible that your darkcoin will wait at a masternode for a short while until other users have also sent coin so they can be mixed. What happens if the masternode goes offline while it is waiting? Is your darkcoin forwarded onto another masternode?

2. If you are running a masternode, are you able to withdraw your dividend payments from the address that holds the 1k darkcoin without taking your masternode offline?

Thanks!

Like why would the signature get banned?
I haven't had a payment yet, up for 15 hours.
I think you need to generate a new masternode private key and insert into your .conf file, then restart your MN.

Ban I suspect was from previous fork.

Let's take a look at the first 5 h of Darkcoin (XCoin at that time)...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg4589219#msg4589219
Edufield said (after failed launch) that he will wait the next day to launch DRK (XCoin at that time) it is 11 pm.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg4591407#msg4591407
Edufield disregard windows wallet and daemon and hurry up his launch, presumably to not have windows miners on board.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg4592827#msg4592827
Edufield say he added four nodes for the launch at 4 am (5 hours later, despite his promise to wait). The 4 nodes from Edufield are 3 amazons AWS + another unknown (whois IP). Launch started at 3h54 am.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg4593601#msg4593601
Edufield said the github version was not updated, nobody could compile and only Edufield was able to mine until that time. It is 5.09 am and Edufield instamined alone 1153 block at 500 DRK + 60 block at reward 277 = 593120 DRK for him alone in about 1 hour.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg4593987#msg4593987
No windows wallet confirmed at 5h47 am, despite a user attempt to make one avaiable, that Edufield dismissed quickly.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg4594096#msg4594096
Illodin, understand dev has instamined alot of coin.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg4595573#msg4595573
From this list of nodes, at 8h34 am (4h40 after launch) there were 50 Amazon AWS node and 50 microsoft cloud computing instamining DRK (checked using IP whois service). This is 100/124 nodes using cloud computing to instamine DRK. We are at block 2870 and block reward is 500. From block 1153-1729 block reward is 277. After that it is 500 again hence 2294 block at 500 + 576 at 277 = 1306552 DRK (worth about 13M$ now) were instamined in less than 5 hour by Edufield and coworkers using about 100 cloud mining instances. Edufield himself instamined in not even 5 h from 600K to 1169K DRK ((1306K-600K)*100/124 + 600K) depending how many of the 100 cloud mining instance were its own. All this while having purposefully set the difficult ridiculously low and block reward 100 times what it is now.

From 6M$ - 13M$ in 5 h, Edufield did some lucrative work here!

Edufield is nominee for the Master Scammer 2014 award!

is that true ?

I would not be surprised if the recent "forks" were calculated market manipulations as well.  DRK has reeked of scam since the very beginning.

I just gave a blow job to Blockchain 2.0, Web 5.0, Proof Of Blockchain and am ready to troll Darkcoin.

And XC trolls are coming back again for a raise. You FUDge packers are not even in the same league as some of the up and comer anon coin wannabes. Are you guys wondering why no one is pumping you anymore.

Guys don't troll back on XC thread. Ignore these Wankers. Shitting there gives those scammers importance ....

I understand variance, not everybody is paying MNs, etc., but at what point should I start to be concerned that my MN hasn't been paid yet? It's on all the lists. ~576 blocks per day, about 60%? of the blocks are paying, so about ~320 or so payments per day to ~380 MNs would be like an 80% chance of getting paid once in 24 hours? Not very good at statistics...somebody help me?

I will need to send the DRK to a new address to do that, won't I? Or can I use the existing wallet?

How do you know if your MN is working correctly or not?  I received a payment on two of mine at 9am-ish.  But nothing since.  Not sure if it has stopped working, or just no luck right now.  Shows okay on the MN pages.

Would there be anything in the log which indicates a problem?

Is everything OK with the Masternode voting system.?
One masternode was paid six times in 24h. I got nothing...
