Hi there, anyone knows what may be reason for only partially accessible MN? It has looked like this for the last two days I've had this a few times and it usually fixes itself if you just wait a few days, I've had MNs paid when they were completely greyed out there. If your MN reports :1 when you grep it in masternode list, don't worry about it. You can also tail your debug.log - you'll see if it's masternoding away or not.

I think now what DRK really needs is a P2P trading platform with fiat (like LocalBitcoins). For this coin to gain any serious attention by businesses and markets this is what is needed.
But now I think about it, would this be better handled by a centralized website or could a system like this be incorporated in to the masternode network in the future (by this, I mean have its own interface on the DRK client and is hosted on the masternode network)? Users would need to be able to create accounts which would allow them to post listings such as "selling DRK for UK bank transfer", and people would be able to leave feedback after a trade. Could add additional security measures such as the ability for people to link their real name with their account (which only becomes visible between 2 participants of a transaction) and as part of the feedback system the participants can confirm whether or not the bank (or whatever payment medium was used) was indeed linked with that real name. Basically a platform like LocalBitcoins hosted on the masternode network usable within the DRK Client.
I dunno, maybe something like this would be deemed unnecessary as being this integrated with the coin. Could also lure a lot of scammers/fraudsters and with it being integrated with the client, loads of noobs not knowing what they're doing and getting fucked over. Then again, it has never been done before either (fiat integration that is). And this possibility exists on LocalBitcoins too, but the feedback system, ability for sellers to request images of the debit card associated with the bank etc, and the chat system negates this. I've never been scammed on there.
Just an idea. But yeah, this would bring us further to decentralization. Currently we're only tradable on exchanges (centralized), obviously private trades happen probably more often than we think but there's no platform for it.
What do you guys think, does DRK need a P2P trading platform, and if so should it be as integrated as I've been babbling?

Any posts from me that were posted in Russian were NOT from me. A cykablyat obtained my forum login details when they were leaked, I was inactive from the forum at that time.

I will publish a full list and I think we should go comment on these articles to show them they actually attracted readers, so they include us in future releases.
Wow, this has been an excellent initiative. And feedback on these articles to publishers is a very good idea.

I went through the confs, restarted nodes & servers a couple of times with no result.. Will give it a break for a few days

The main problem with most such paid articles - they aren’t shown to site’s visitors (have not published on their newsline or even not linked from the main site so even search bots can’t find them [unless we publish links in this topic for example]). So formally - articles are published (if you know direct link). But no sites's visitors can see and find them (try to search «darkcoin» through that site’s search forms for example).

I want the rc 5 to kick in to it would be great now when we have some attention:)
Huh? I'm not sure, but I think he wants enforcement to kick in. Well, it looks like we got good press coverage. To bad it's such a hard time for cryptos right now. Of course the alt scene created this mire of bad feelings with all it's scams. I don't discount the responsibility of ignorant people who threw their money into the mouths of the sharks, though. Even my intelligent husband kept wanting me to try making money on pump and dumps, but it rubbed me the wrong way, and I'm sure I would have lost money. I actually invested every cent I could collect into DRK (about $600 'cause we're broke, LOL), and though it'll be a long time before we'll see any profits, I'm sure we will see them. Even if we never do, I am so proud to have been a part of this revolution of Evan's, it doesn't matter if my dreams don't come true. In my opinion, it was a good investment of my time and meager money. If nothing else, I know we moved the world at least an inch in the right direction! Again, congrats on the press coverage. I hope mainstream will mention us more in the near future. Glad NBC noticed us the other day, even if it was to "warn" of our "darkness", LOL. Dumbasses........oops, I didn't say that! Your awesomeness brings greatness to the coin. I feel the same way. I just wish that some people understood the implications of such a groundbreaking currency. It is strange to me that people like being kept in little boxes doing little things. I hope your $600 turns into a million.

Well these are not really paid articles, we did pay for the news wire service but publications choose to pick it up or not. As far as press releases go we couldn't hope for a better performance yes some articles are more hidden than others but we are accessible in many many publications, the list is very long. Our objective right now is creating awareness about Darkcoin outside of the crypto forums, that will not be accomplished with a single release but is definitely a good step in the right direction. Also all these articles, create very healthy back links to our website which is nice for SEO purposes, the important thing is we are open source now, and the promotion initiatives will continue both publicly and privately.

like this http://shapeshift.io/I put an unofficial feature request for BTC<>DRK running through the Master Nodes, which, now I find this service ^^, I can tell everyone about. It's not guaranteed to be worked on, but I think that because of this service being available for LTC, and soon other alts, it will be worth keeping track of this service and pushing a little harder for something similar. Being able to move from BTC>DRK>BTC for a very small fee to MNs would be a killer application (why would you need DarkWallet?), especially if we could effectively have wallets acting as BTC and DRK mini-exchanges / liquidity, and the MNs as the automatic escrow. There was a cryptic message that there are secret projects...who knows? I certainly don't, but I do hope something like this could be created with MNs and wallets giving liquidity could earn a few DRK for their efforts.

Hello, Guys, we are thrilled so far with the performance of our release. It seems like not only people are interested on this subject, the article was of very good quality and is being well received by many publications. So far I can confirm around 239 online publications that have posted our article (I have the benefit of the tracking tools), and that number should go up in the next 48 hours or so. Also others may decide to write their own articles based on ours so we should see some nice activity in the next couple of days.
Really? That's pretty awesome! I take it that's around the world as well, no? So cool! Great job, you guys! Yeah in reality is mostly US, there is a lot of local publications, and regional news channels. The important thing is we are creating awareness. For example: Miami Herald http://markets.financialcontent.com/mi.miamiherald/news/read/28341933/Darkcoin_Solves_Bitcoin_Privacy_ChallengesNBC right now http://www.nbcrightnow.com/story/26660350/darkcoin-solves-bitcoin-privacy-challenges-releases-open-source-codeThere is a bunch, I will prepare a full report after 48 hours or so, as it only went out this morning. Build the infrastructure first, try to get people involved, and if after everything is built (iOS, Android, Darkness all over the world) we are still EuroDisney then I will start to get worried. Have you seen the volume on Mintpal? We are being reviewed..... Just my 2 Duffs.

Hey Evan please read PM!
Hey Evan,
The buy links on Darkcoin.io where you can select exchanges to buy DRk are not filtered by volume, thats a big mistake, the first exchange you can select has a volume of just 17.5 DRK witch is nothing, people need to be able to buy lots of course!!See coinmarketcap to have the exchange that hast the most volume the past 30days and show that on the site top to bottem. Wink
Thank you for creating this coin!

Hi there, anyone knows what may be reason for only partially accessible MN? It has looked like this for the last two days Looks like only RC version(sv03 and sv06) listed your MN. I would suggest following. 1) stop darkcoind(remote and cold wallet) 2) remove peers.dat(remote and cold wallet) 3) start remote 4) start cold 5) send 1k to own MN address using coin control (If address of MN is AAA, select AAA's 1K, and send 1K to AAA) (No need to back up again) 6) Wait 7 confirmation 7) start Masternode
