Damn Ripple!
So I took the day to, no matter what, get some bloody Ripple. I tried before twice and quit, too much of a hassle. But diversifying my portfolio made me go for round 3.
It has been, by far, much much harder than I ever expected. It is highly confusing. It seems you need to have Ripple first before you can buy Ripple. Ripple is supposed to be instant with inter FIAT bank transfer, but I sent some simple ripples out and its been more then 30 minutes to get them to another exchange and still nothing.
I really really dont get it.
i bought some ripples for fun, it took 10 minutes... these guys have instantx, and dealing with banks...why not invest some small amount u never know its up to your exchange.... like stupid cryptsy... edit: use rippletrade only for wallet... i dunno why u did go on their "deposits" of BTC use cryptsy bro

Anybody want to make money this weekend? My bet predictions
Soccer ODDS ======== Porto 1.11 Tothenham 1.50 Barcelona 1.07 Ajax 1.37 Galatasaray 1.42
Football ======== Greenbay 1.19 New England 1.2
You get close to 1 to 5 ratio. Very Minimal Risk. Only game I am hesitant is New England since last game Jets fought hard. But score still should be something like 43 to 17.

Do you think there could be some interest in these? http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/flash-padlock-2-8gb-usb-flash-driveI've bought several hundred of them (earlier versions) before through the same supplier and I wonder whether I'd be able to get a good bulk deal for Darkcoiners.

Strange how i worked like a slave in order to get my first masternode ( living in a shitty European country is no fun ) and after i got all my bitcoins, now i'm not that sure anymore. I love everything about DRK except the way it's being branded. Would love to see the coin stripped off its Dark title and be more centered around InstantX.
"Insert title" that performs super fast transactions and that can provide anonymity if necessary. - would sound so much better in my opinion. 1 Billion users on facebook already show you that they don't give a flying F about privacy. Most of the people that i've talked to, they are pretty skeptical when they hear about Bitcoin. I don't even have the courage to mention them about Darkcoin. You might as well call it "Illegal Coin", "BuyDrugsCoin" and many more. If there's anything that will stop this coin from reaching a large scale adoption, it would be the name and its already established negative meaning. It would also place InstantX into the shadow.
I have to agree... I'm currently setting up a new business and will be accepting Bitcoin, I was going to also accept Darkcoin until I thought about how it would look to my potential clients and decided not to accept it simply because of the name. I'm a massive supporter and investor of Darkcoin and everything is stands for and I understand the reason for Evan choosing the name, but if we want Darkcoin to gain mainstream adoption, the name must be changed. If a massive supporter like myself won't accept Darkcoin because of the ramifications associated with it and how that would affect a normal business, then what chance does darkcoin have in going mainstream. Stick with the Darkcoin name and is will be accepted by Dark markets, gambling and porn businesses. Change the name and it will be accepted by everybodyI really can't see an upside in keeping the Darkcoin name. You don't even need to worry about rebranding until Bitcoin starts getting "accepted by everybody". Fact of the matter, even with the name and the target niche of "Dark markets, gambling and porn businesses", that's billions in revenue for a coin that fills that. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't see DRK overtaking BTC but I see value (incredible value) in a coin that serves those niches. Besides, with AML and KYC laws, and the struggles BTC is already having, good luck selling Darkcoin to regulation. With just the markets you seem to hold so negatively, I feel it's well worth being a part of, let alone investing in. But that's me... I'm not arguing that market size of "Dark markets, gambling and porn businesses" isn't massive but as I understand Darkcoin's goal is to provide a better version of bitcoin that includes true transaction anonymity, instant transactions and better security for eveybody. With the Darkcoin name as it is people will only be able to use those features if they are purchasing from Dark markets, gambling and porn businesses! Is this what we want? I personally would like everybody to have access to these features but the problem is merchants won't accept Darkcoin with the current name and branding. This leaves most people stuck with Bitcoin with it's slow speeds, low security and poor anonymity. I don't believe this is what Evan wanted and let's face it, re-branding now would be pretty easy! OzzieCoin is that you?

Guys I have great info I`ve contacted Michelle from DirectBet about the drk volume. Here is what they responded to me ------------------ Hi splawik21, Greetings from DirectBet. In regards to your question on DRK volume, it's too early to make a conclusion but so far this month Darckoin betting volume passed Dogecoin and Litecoin and is second to Bitcoin ! I'm sure the Darkcoin community will love to hear that so feel free to spread the word. By the way, we are nominated for the 2014 Bitcoin Gambling Awards. Please take a moment to vote for us : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=884463.0------------------- Please RT and thnx in advance. https://twitter.com/splawik21/status/545644127699075072Thanks for sharing~ Glade to here that! It's Win-Win that Online Gambling's adoption provide a huge and steady demand to Darkcoin. And the Darkcoin's Privacy and easy to transfer property (and the InstantX in the foreseeable future) solve the deposit/withdraw problem for the Online Gambling (which definitely increase the trade volume in the Gambling site) and provide the best service in the Crypto world. (Allow me consider the currency as a kind of service.) And the best part is: all that happen online. Just the information exchange but no shipping offline~

Sorry bro, you can't. Different CPU instruction set. In fact you can build from source and it runs but the CPU performance on the Rpi is not enough for it to be usable.

Wtf is wrong with Bitfinex ? I've deposited an X amount of BTC's in the trading account and i cannot purchase DRK at all. It tells me not enough balance on every order. Why do i have to read another book on how to use a dumb fucking exchange that already archived my life?

Make sure the BTC is in your "exchange" wallet, not the "trading" or "deposit" wallets. Click the "Manage Wallets" button on the right side and you can transfer between wallets if necessary.
