Are there any updates regarding the re-designed wallet?

What about the giveaway thread?

Or are we waiting until more PMC is swapped?

I'm compiling static Qt right now, but it takes a long ass time (already been an hour).
I can release the wallet as is with dynamic Qt but we are still going to have the console bug so I'd rather get this working first.
The developer we hired basically just generated and compiled the initial coin (which I had to change several times), everything else I've been doing on my own. It wasn't until after a week of struggling with Qt daily that I was actually able to compile his source.

I've been working all night so I'm going to take a nap and when I get up I'll get back to it.
The giveaway thread is going up later today, assuming I don't have a stroke of some sort before then.

Hey guys just an update.
I've decided to delay the new ANN by one day. I'm waiting on the dev to compile my new wallet statically. I'm still having issues setting up a static win build environment that is compatible with this coin/deps. I don't want our release wallet to have the console bug if possible so its best we wait for him to compile it. Should be done some time today.
Soon as I get the fresh wallet I'll post the new ANN.

All right everyone, my apologies for the delay.
I was going to post it last night but had a bit of technical difficulties and was tired as hell so I decided to sleep on it and post in the morning.

We are LIVE

Github has been updated, new wallet links are up (new stable wallet).

We need everyone posting in that thread getting it to the top!

Awesome, I would suggest messaging Poloniex with a link to the launch thread. Being on the same exchange that we were before soon will fuel the coin even more!

Add this to your premine.conf file

addnode=node.preminer.conf

OR: from debug window

addnode node.preminer.com onetry

I know some of you have sent PMC to the Burn address and have not seen it on the PMC blockchain..

The blockchain is frozen at the moment, we need to mine it..

Maardien, who has been kind enough to keep his asics pointed at PMC, will need to turn them back on again...
Or any of you with an asic could you please get the chain started back up?

I probably could arrange for some compensation in the form of PMP... we need to keep this chain running at least till the end of September...

Please message me.

Why don't you mine with your cpu for now? It's not like the difficulty was high or anything...

at that difficulty cpu wont make anything just a utilization of more power.

By my calculations, with just 1 core on PMC, with a difficulty of 14 and a hashing power of .9 MH/s (900 KH/s) I will mine 32 blocks a day or one block every 45 minutes. I wouldn't say thats a waste and I also wouldn't say that uses a lot of electricity.

I'll keep 1 core on it. I suggest a few others do the same.

do NOT set max cores, any more than 1 or two cores and you are just wasting electricity and driving up the difficulty.
