That is actually quite odd the more I think about it. If a person is willing going to go out of their way to bash a coin, and apparently make it his mission to destroy a coin, why hold them ? In any case, stay alert. Evidently this fella has some sort of vendetta, you guys maybe should have given him an even 10 PMC - 7 PMC seems to have set him off.

I have downloaded a wallet as I don't have any way to solo mine unless at very very slow speeds. its an interesting concept and one I would like to join. I have no intention of dumping the coins as I get very few as it is and would be looking to keep them for long term.
My address is below if anyone wants to start me off on this coin.
1DJmwdftR1TfpF4rgm12ifKTSGD6uJqYQN
I have only be on the site a short time but have been trying to keep things positive in other posts when others have been bashing due to a poor start in goldbars, hopefully now this is being re-launched with some of the community helping rather than slagging off the dev which is good to see and hopefully the re-launched and re-named coin should be a more of a community effort now with a few tweaks and suggestions from others.
I also help with a new coin called Scotcoin. This is similar to this but has mostly been pre-mined with the aim of fair and transparent distribution to the people of Scotland and only a small amount of coins left for mining so I get the concept of this.
Thanks

What is wrong in this guy ? He had some coins, what else ? He came here thinking to have few thousand probably and now he would make a sort of revenge. If we going to die for this one probably we are not strong enough to stay in cryptoworld, so keep working on pmc

I got into it a little with BitcoinSachs on twitter over the MAZA situation, I trust someone with the username BitcoinSachs as much as GoldmanSachs frankly. What is sad though is all it takes is a few of these guys to spread enough fud to kill a coin community, I don't know why so many people hang on to these kind of guys words.

I don't think we can put to many conditions on the giveaway as far as people having certain activity since the point is to draw new people into the community that means people on other coins and gamers, people who play Facebook games or twitter heads. I'm thinking more people from outside of crypto then in.

Sent a few over. Thanks very much that good of you will hold these, if anyone wants to chip in with any development ideas for the new goldbars coin have a look at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=508749.new#newalso a poll for a new name https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=508749.new#newAs per previous post it had a poor start and the dev tried his best then refunded (showing him to be honest) but kinda gave up after so much negative posts but now seems to be back on track after some encouragement :-) its a really good concept for this coin and the more people on board with ideas the better it will be for everyone and like this coin the 2.0 version will be a more community based effort. Thanks again for the coins :-)

I'm agree that we need more people outside the cryptoworld but it's important at the same time not to give coins to dumpers. Look at Yin/Yang coin, is a cool idea and the people earn more coins if they do some simple tasks in a week. This week they have not to dump their coins and the value now is 0.00016. Not bad.

For me is better to give coins with some conditions
1) not dump them (if new members come with a proof that have not dumped their coins after 1 month will receive the double)
2) be active on this thread or for pmc community
3) be at least bitcointalk users with 30+ activity
I would leave only the first one, other points are too restrictive.

IMO, they will just dump the coin if you give it to them. If they see any value in the PMC they can buy it.

Msg me if you want me to put anything here.

I have to agree with this .... No many people out there seem to believe in pmc. Or better not on long-term. It's a coin like other with pump and dump and not a long term one. Because of this the people when receive some the first thing is dump and good bye...

+1 this is probably the case. If there were a lot of buyers for the few coins circulating the price would rise rapidly, as long as the big stake holders don't throw all their coins on the market then.

Is there a chance to check how many coins are really circulating, or how many coins from the adresses holding a certain number were not moved for a long time? Maybe there are only a few coins traded by a few traders among themselves - up and down all the time.

You can see the richlist and check one by one the addresses. But this is a long work. http://blockchain.premineco.in/wallet/index.php?min=500

In any case, stay alert. Evidently this fella has some sort of vendetta, you guys maybe should have given him an even 10 PMC - 7 PMC seems to have set him off. He is a complete and utter prat. Anyone with any brains can see he's a moron. Petty little personal vendetta because nobody would give him a big bagful of cash. Honestly, would you take tweets like that seriously? Death threats? What a joke. It makes no difference. People trash talk the biggest coins. Happens to them all. The funny thing is, all he's doing is spreading the word about Premine. People will go "Oh, what's this all about then?" Then they come here, realise it isn't a scam, and then we have a bigger community. What a tool. What's more likely is he is hoping someone will give him coins to shut him up. Someone should tweet back and show how he's still got his original coins. It's just funny, really. Let him have his tantrum.

I have to agree with this .... Yep. All giveaways should be done with a proof of wallet pic required (to prevent direct deposit to an exchange). Someone mentioned a half now, half later strategy. I'd go for that too. Also, a pool is really needed (P2P preferred). We should have a bounty for this, with regular payments for upkeep included (to prevent the pool operator running off with the funds, like one of the faucets).

Someone should contact arstechnica / Engadget / TheVerge / Gitmodo, etc. And see about getting a piece written up. We have an interesting story, and an interesting coin. We've already discovered and fixed on potentially catastrophic bug in the original bitcoin code. Same thing goes with the diffferent news medias. Bitcoin gets reported on by practically every news and blog out there, especially when a bug is found. I feel like as long as we open with ..."and we already found this on major bitcoin bug" they'll report it.
Send in news reports to fox, msn, cnn about "the near miss bitcoin bug" and "PREMINE saves BITCOIN"
Word it right, and itll becomes big news.
Doing this will get us more attention from investers than any giveaway, or advertisement within the crypto community. We have everything we need to shoot for a major publication to pick our story up.

The easiest thing to do is put our money out and buy some PMC... The volume is so low after the Poloniex issues that it takes little to move the market.
