The price was stuck at $ 650. I believe that the price will increase more when the speed problem is solved. it will soon exceed $ 1000.

Speed is not really the issue here. I would like to keep this price at this range because do you even know how many years bitcoin actually need to stabilize at the price range of $650? This just shows that ethereum is on a different level compare with bitcoin and at this point it is just going to be higher and higher so dont bother with the speed problem

I agree, network is much faster. I dont know what the recommended Gwei is now but during the kittie problem I had to use 40 Gwei.

The network congestion is getting better, we can make transactions go through with way less Gwei than some days ago.

To find out how the current situation is and how much Gwei you should set check: https://ethgasstation.info/ You can set your Gwei a bit above the safelow, this will be enough to make them go through.

I hope that the scaling issues of Ethereum will soon be something we look back to and laugh about. Ethereum has still a long way to do, but its a long way on the road of success!

yes network is getting better and transaction anr going cheap again but some times its not that cheap
ethgasstation show some times transaction lowest cost gwei is more then 20
but right now its 10 gwei lost cost for eth transaction
eth coin price is around 700$ in this month great achievement

it surely will go higher, but the price cant cover the problems of ethereum, VB must make some effort to solve this problem, otherwise people will turn to eos

I think ethereum teams can solve this problem as soon as possible, so that this project keep greater. Although it will need more time but i am sure will not be long, so we.must be patient

The scaling problem is a matter that all cryptos have to solve. However, I think ETH is doing pretty good by now. There's only 15k transactions in the mempool when a bit less than a million transactions were made yesterday. That a 1.5% (or 20 minutes) backlog. The safe low gas price is now about 5 Gwei according to EthGasStation. For a regular transaction needing 21000 gas, that's a $0.075 fee (with $700/ETH).

Now let's compare with Bitcoin's 110k pending transactions related to the 490k transactions yesterday. That's almost a 25% backlog (or 6 hours). The safe fees are around 400 satoshis/byte according to BitcoinFees. For a regular transaction needing 250 bytes, that's a $17 fee (with $17,000/BTC).

So ETH network is processing twice the number of transactions that BTC network is processing daily with one-twentieth of the backlog and one two-hundreths of the fees. Plenty of work to do but I'm sure we are allowed to brag a little

You must be using mist wallet correct? It used to give me trouble everytime so I switched to using MyEtherWallet its way to fast.

I really don't care what charts say. All charts were saying btc will drop but it is still running like a hell.

It's sometimes helpful but not all the times. By the way, I'm expecting more than 1500$ after the upcoming fork. I'm not opposite to 1000$ idea.

So just make your sure don't over invest yourself. Put in what you can afford to lose so you don't panic sell if it goes through a correction.

Yeah i am not sure about that Ethereum will be at $2000 end of the year.
But Ethereum Insanely Going good and that means Ethereum will be Cross $1000 without any doubt.
A couple weeks ago Ethereum Network overloaded but now Ethereum Network Getting normal
and  A total of 7712 Pending Transactions found. Ethereum can Achieve a goal $1000 at end of year easily.

this thread is a legend for the cryptoworld i guess, kudos for the great ethereum devs:) you really changed the world, yes bitcoin changed the world but ethereum will be the leading currency in this world. With cheap and faster transactions, smart contract opportunities ETH is better than almost every other coin. My guess is at the of the 2018, ETH price is above 4000 usd. if bitcoin is expected to be 100000 usd at the end of 2018, keeping same exchange rates with now Eth has to be 3900 usd by standard. so we'll keep watching.

Yeah i think eth at this point is really showing its capabilities in the blockchain technology in terms of  fast and cheap transaction fees, smart contract features in the ethereum network, the developers are on their game, eth may not reach the $1000 speculation for end of this year, but it surely has gain some ground, who knows what will happen within few days to come, crypto world is unpredictable.
