I noticed that most of the posts under this thread are of higher quality than other thread.
Is this because people following Ethereum are prone to higher IQ?

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

We put a man on the moon in 1969 trust me it can be done with sharding and separate universes that can share information together

Sharding is a type of database partitioning that separates very large databases the into smaller, faster, more easily managed parts called data shards. The word shard means a small part of a whole.
editing the existing blockchain is extremely dangerous it will result in losing the transactions last time what he did was sharding and users lost coins they are trying to do this from years since after the launch..  ethereum have to come up  again with new ethereum with a new premine Cheesy

what they would come up would be swap like this one will have swap to new ethereum which is a common protocol for scammers to do so... man dont bet on this idiot they are very good liars he just throws some codes at audiences and they are impressed cuz nobody really understands programming then few in our world... but i can tell you its not possible to edit the database they will come up with swap lol

Ooof....the amount of ignorance and fud in this post is too damn high! Get back under your bridge digitalbarter. You have 0 clue what you're talking about Smiley

Yes what we are looking is a bear trap which is very bullish, We need to hodler our stacks and buy
when charts are looking greenish and sell when its all red.
Of course it's christmas time so everyone is cashing out.
Don't worry they will come back very soon.
We hit ATH or ATl yesterday can't remember really but whats important is to just buy more its cheap now.
Ethereum price right now at $691, It will be at $800 After christmas.

If ETH goes below $600 I will definitely buy more because after mid-January all the alts will start to rise (just my gut feeling).

All tokens, coins are dropping hard. It is nothing more than a correction also it means they are buying opportunities. Buying anything is a good idea now. Especially ethereum.

Well that is not far to happen. ETH already pass the 800+ mark and any time today onward,  Eth will attempt to surpassed it again. I am saving any eth anytime  I have a chance, because I know next year would be another year of achievements for eth.

Most people believe in Eth, I would like it to be not in vain. I'm looking for an answer whether it is possible to modernize the blockchain so as to have a very large number of transactions in minimum time and with a minimum price? What is happening now does not meet the needs of the crypto community today.

At the moment it is not really clear when the POS feature will be activated fot Ethereum but i read in some articels that it will be realed in srping 2018, so lets see .

thanks for your answer man, spring 2018 is really near the next corner.

A coin like eth become PoS in my opinion will be an earthquake for all the mining crypto coin.

obviously there will be the big question: can pos tecnology be enough safe?

I thought it was end of 2017 or start of 2018. It postponed or my memory is deceiving me.

It will be a direct hit to miners but i would love some pos mining through myetherwallet Smiley

I read it PoS would not happen at least by end of 2018; it is too early to move. Also the major last planned forks of Etherium haven't started yet. So there is still plenty of time.

Yesterday, at $ 550, my full position to buy ETH, soon to flip, I always think ETH is a low-profile coin, it does not even exceed the price of BCH

I have a question please:
How long could it take to transfer and confirm for example 1 ETH?

It is not an important thing, the quantity of the eth. For 1 or 1000000 eth takes the same time to transfer. Only thing matter is gas price. If you willing to pay more gas it can go in seconds if you want to pay the lowest gas it goes in hours maybe days.

Forks occur specifically for this, but themselves the currencies can not be changed, alas.

You are totally true but the gas price should hopefully become better with some updates. Right now crypto isn't much better than banking. In terms of price it isn't at all, but in terms of speed it still is. If we can fix the price per transaction issue we will go to the moon.

It was perfect just after the last hard fork. I was sending my transactions with 0.5 gwei, not even 1.0. And it was nearly free. And then we met with kitties.

Welcome to the New Beginning

When the grand experiment that is bitcoin began, the anonymous wizard desired to test two parameters- a trustless, decentralized database enjoying security enforced by the austere relentlessness of cryptography and a robust transaction system capable of sending value across the world without intermediaries. Yet the past five years years have painfully demonstrated a third missing feature: a sufficiently powerful Turing-complete scripting language. Up until this point, most innovation in advanced applications such as domain and identity registration, user-issued currencies, smart property, smart contracts, and decentralized exchange has been highly fragmented, and implementing any of these technologies has required creating an entire meta-protocol layer or even a specialized blockchain. Theoretically, however, each and every one of these innovations and more can potentially be made hundreds of times easier to implement, and easier to scale, if only there was a stronger foundational layer with a powerful scripting language for all of these protocols to build upon. And this need is what we seek to satisfy.

Ethereum is a modular, stateful, Turing-complete contract scripting system married to a blockchain and developed with a philosophy of simplicity, universal accessibility and generalization. Our goal is to provide a platform for decentralized applications - an android of the cryptocurrency world, where all efforts can share a common set of APIs, trustless interactions and no compromises. We ask for the community to join us as volunteers, developers, investors and evangelists seeking to enable a fundamentally different paradigm for the internet and the relationships it provides.

Who is Behind Ethereum?

Our primary core devs are:

  • Vitalik Buterin → Inventor of Ethereum, protocol developer and researcher
  • Gavin Wood →Lead C++ developer
  • Jeffrey Wilcke → Lead Go developer

Primary non-development members include:

  • Anthony Di Iorio → Founder and Executive Director of the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada, Bitcoin Decentral, KryptoKit
  • Mihai Alisie → Founder of Bitcoin Magazine and Egora
  • Joseph Lubin → Software engineer, Quantitative Analyst
  • Stephan Tual → Founder of Ursium, Communications

A more extensive but non-exhaustive list of team members can be found here.

Our ether sale is available at http://ethereum.org ; the site contains all needed instructions.

Well...show me another coin that has made 9000+% ytd value growth and has the following Ethereum does! Market fluctuations on a single day doesn't by any means define value or progress of a coin.

It's awesome when you can make small profits day trading, but we all know which coin is the best long-term investment  Wink Cheesy
