Noticed that as soon as the user begins to raise the Gas Price 30-50 Gwei in MEW it turns into chaos. If all put about the same Gas 2-5 Gwei everything is normal. Of course it all depends on the system load, but maybe there's some solution for this?  Huh

GAS price is only issue for those who are making a transaction of low value.

I think ETH will soon release some updates that will fix the GAS price issue.

Thanks Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA)   Ethereum is on an upward curve, what bodes well for ETH’s potential value as well as for the Ethereum market cap. If things continue in the same vein, the next 12 months we could see Ethereum breaking the $1,000 barrier.

It looks like blockchain is recovered again. Transactions take seconds with 5 gwei. I changed my address due to etherdelta thing and it cost me very little.

It would be very helpful. Because when the story Cryptokitties I was quite shocked that I could not send transactions more than a week. If simultaneously to launch several such projects in the Eth blockchain it would be a disaster. The developers need to do something with it.

I have a question please:
How long could it take to transfer and confirm for example 1 ETH?
Transfer and confirmation speed depends on Gas Price.
If you Set High Gas Price then Transfer speed will be confirm immediately.
You can also check daily normal gas price at Eth gas station.

At the moment, at least out of GDAX, ETH transfer is the most economic compared to Bitcoin or Litecoin. It took me only 0.5 cents, compared to 1.5USD for Litecoin and Bitcoin.
Speed depends on number of current transactions and can be checked online dynamically.

Recently, all my friends began to actively buy ETH. I do not know why, but the demand for it is growing. I have a question. How safe it is to store it in a wallet. What is the probability that it can be hacked? Two-factor authentication can solve this problem?

The lower fees on ETH are benefiting vs BTC, in comparison Ethereum should gain business BTC is losing I think.   Hopefully this helps spreads which gives a reciprocal effect to help encourage further use of ETH for various transactions due to greater usage.

There is a cut off when we reach ETH theoretical limits on transactions per second and I do hope that is not a hard limit.    How close are we and would a change to POS help improve the overall situation by encouraging greater involvement by wallet holders in the transnational network ?   It would be good to hear some good news on this not just for ETH but crypto overall, since ETH is protege to the Bitcoin crown.   I think its possibly a big question while the various forks argue over directly copying the largest blockchain I think we may step sideways, feasible imo

0.5 cents like 0,005 USD? That is weird man, ETH is not known for its cheap transaction fees... during cryptokitties days I was not able to send anything cheaper than 3 USD...
I do like ETH and i mined some a while ago, but there are much better coins nowadays with much cheaper and faster transactions, like Bitcore (BTX), adding also airdrop every monday, which is very nice.
I feel like ETH need to use raiden network (RDN) or something similar to keep the pace.

from every coin cheaper and transacted fast i like eth coin is realy easy to send and receive
and also many of tokens we can save them in one place and now the transaction fee is reduced and back to normal
i think eth will be more stable then bitcoin
bitcoin transaction fee is really insanely high only big amounts are good to send and receive in bitcoin
so i prefer eth coin for making transfer fund from one place to another

Actually, if ethereum network isn't clogged, transactions are way cheaper comparing most of the coins.

For example, i send some eth today with 5 gwei and they were 0.000105 Ether ($0.07) very cheap.

On Christmas Eve, December 24, the price of leading cryptocurrencies fell by large margins. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Litecoin, along with every other cryptocurrency in the market with the exception of a few have declined substantially in value.

Out of the 10 most valuable cryptocurrencies in the market, Bitcoin Cash and Ripple have recorded the largest losses, falling by 18 percent and 17 percent respectively. The two cryptocurrencies have also surged in value earlier this week, resulting in a bigger correction than other cryptocurrencies in the market.

I hope ETH will be $2000 in 2018 or i will DIE!

Wao! Thats quite a declaration on the state of your life come 2018 Grin, hope the eth community can relate to your situation, eth has all the potentials to reach $2000 comes 2018, however, its solely on the hands the market forces, it will be interesting to see how it plays out Cool

Merry Christmas fair ETHtraders!
What gift awaits us today? What will we unwrap? The continuation of a massive bull run?
Perhaps witnessing a dead cat bounce from big brother? Will we rise while he falls?
Will another ripple-like pump surprise us all and cause us to shake our heads in disbelief?
Will some fud show up and put a damper on festivities? Will someone launch a kitty app that clogs up the network?
Crypto, the most colorful show in finance...
telling myself to enjoy, be thankful for your gains, be thankful you’ve been blessed to be so early in this game, be thankful for all you’ve learned, and be hopeful that next year will be even more prosperous.
Hoping and wishing we all end up a whole lot closer to our version of the moon by this time next year.
I predict 800+ easily by the end of year..

Eth transaction fees are not the cheapest.  Right now transfer fees I think is at 0.00184 sats.  But ETH will be very valuable in the coming years if not months.  Some local companies I know of are starting to look at eth for generating contracts and tokens for use within their company.  I say it is valuable since we need eth as gas for the transactions.  Smiley
