Ethereum scalability problem must be solved in 2108, otherwise we will have a serious problems with gas prices and transaction delays. A lot of new  ethereum based games similar to crypro kitties are comming together with enormous amount of ICO's in 2018.

That should be the first thing in there to do list.

This month has been crazy for ETH all supporters now we need a stable GAS prices.
They are working now on casper protocol which is the main solution for Ethereum scalability problems, but the things is, that it can be implemented not before 2019 as Vitalik said.

Was it the fork turn ethereum pos from pow?

And how will it solve scalability problems? I checked some blogs but couldn't get how.

Bitcoin going back to Normal position and it's price climbed to $15,000.
The Bitcoin price just trading at price $15,713.. that's very good for BTC HOlders.
Otherside The Ethereum Price is trading at $732 on Bitfinex, about one percent higher than it's previous day level.
Ethereum now has a market cap of nearly $72 billion.

Well the $600 price a couple of days ago was a good entry point but for now just buy ASAP and hodl ! There's no point waiting for a dip that may never happen if you're running for the long-term.

It may be impossible to overtake bitcoin at this time as it had the very big first mover advantage. Ethereum is doing well as I see the SmartContract is very useful for those wanting to do ICO's without starting their own blockchain.

It's just that there are also too many $hittokens littering the eth blockchain.  Angry

Some indeed have become unicorns like OMG & EOS - until they breakaway as eth tokens and complete their own blockchains though.  Grin

People who are holding has big expectations on ETH price because 2017 is the biggest year for all the altcoin. There is a huge chance in the 2018. As long as we hold ETH there is a good chance for people.

In 2018, bitcoin may be reduced to make a throne, as empty subject. So next year ETH really has a big chance of winning the market value. Tongue

Yes, I also saw such reports. Bitcoin technology is lagging behind. It is no longer the best representative of digital money. The new generation of digital money is faster and better. Tongue

I'm sorry, but in 2018, I was more optimistic about the throne of Ripple. Ripple does not rely on block chains, but rather uses the nodes network formed by banks and financial institutions. Transactions are fast, safe and cheap, which is regarded as an excellent way to send money. Wink

From what you say it appears that Ripple is a centralized currency and blockchain has only an indirect relationship. So the price will be more dependent on large holders than from most of the players on the stock exchange.

In fact, banks can create their own closed blockchain solutions without ripple
