I would like to know why the etherium has risen in price, probably because Vitalik Buterin has announced grants for scaling the network? What do you think about this? I honestly do not think that this is the main reason that the etherium has risen in price

Amazing how the price has increased? I was once the proud owner of 100 Etherium, I think I paid $10 each at the time. Sadly I now have only 1 ETH, if only I had of kept them all...sigh.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Ethereum’s combined market cap is now at $200 billion, $130 billion for eth tokens and $70 billion for all the other tokens running on top of eth.
Which means the platform might not be that far off from a flippening with bitcoin, which currently stands at a market cap of $240 billion.

I'm thinking of a new platform that is NEO
ether too slow chimp as bitcoin. Wink

I'd like to see NEO try to process the number of transactions Ethereum is right now. Hint: it couldn't.

I don't care neo or another.

If ethereum network stays like this, some blockchain will take its place at one point. They need to act faster than this.

I totally agree. Still up to this day, I can't believe how the price of Ethereum spiked so much, provided there are so many network tasks to do (or issues to solve). And it is the second most stable crypto at all. Even Vitalik in one of his statements said that he can't take anymore the constant price speculations.

Some people make it sound like its so trivial a task. "Just do it. Just hardfork and fix it". It's not a question of acting faster. It's a question of figuring out the (best) fucking solution in the first place. This is extremely complex tech. If Bitcoin is a calculator, moving numbers from here to there, Ethereum is a fucking Excel spreadsheet. As a software engineer, it annoys me to high heaven when muggles think it's so simple. Not to mention programmable blockchains are absolutely brand new tech. It's not like we have 30+ years of experience and understanding to fall back on. We're in uncharted space here boys.

I'd also  remind people that every other coin based on blockchain is facing this same problem, and none have a solution that would enable faster processing than what Ethereum is already doing.
yes every token that use eth blockchain i mean ERC20 token have the same problem and facing a lot of time in transaction processing but if you use higher gas fee then your transaction will be confirm normally fast
now on ethgasstation the lowest gsa price in gwei is 6 . i think eth network is stabilizing slowly
and in next coming days gas price should be less then 3 qwei in lowest gas price
i think eth price is going high that's why large number of people making transaction on eth network and eth network facing network congestion

You missed the point. Of course every token is the same, they all use Ethereum. The point is other blockchains have the same scalability problem as Ethereum.

Grow the Dividend Snek! (pm me if you have questions)

#1. Copy sent to: info @ ethereum.org
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=428589.0
#2. ETH does not Ring/Notice the receiving wallet/device when a payment is sent from another wallet/device...
BIG MISTAKE. BTC BCH does Ring a Notice when a payment is received and how much $ is awaiting confirmation.

#3. Add conditions option to payments, like Byteball.

If you got your Ethereum from the lows of last year, that's already a lot of profit. The cryptocurrency market is going crazy right now and we dont' know how high prices can go.

I had difficulty using Ehtereum a couple of weeks back. Transferring ETH took a couple of hours to arrived. Is the network now normal? Is sending ETH fast again?

I read it here who said something about Neo, I do not quite understand how this can be used if the coin is not broken up, and is translated as a multiple of 1. For it will be impossible to buy something that is very inconvenient. If Eth can solve its current problems, then it will leave far behind its competitors.

Yes, I think very few people really expected such a turn of events about the Etherium, but there is a reason for every take-off and every fall, so I would like to know what's wrong? Really in the upcoming hardfork?
