I just googled cointerra and lo and behold this company came up as the first paid link:

Forget about Cointerra - Buy 20nm 5 TH/s Bitcoin Miners Now‎
Adwww.ctsminer.com/
Worlds Most Powerful Bitcoin Miners
CTS Miner has 970 followers on Google+

Searching for ctsminer led me here.  After reading through this thread, I would not buy anything from them.

Very nice work...anybody still thinking of buying into this SCAM deserves to be scam...so they were preying on people misspelling the BSF domain name...they were really looking for fools.

Thank you. The domain butterflyiab.com is not yet active, but I believe if it was there would be for malicious purposes.

I already saw a scam on a domaine very similar to the one above.  An ad ran on google for about 6 hours if you searched "butterfly labs", on a website clone of the butterfly website, offering a phase 1 "clearance" and promising to ship 3 Monarch modules, immediate shipping, for 6 BTC.  I almost fell for it until I noticed the slight change in domain.

I somehow don't see a legit company here, so will first call them to establish if this is correct. If they make me believe they are real then I will most probably go.
But on Monday I am expecting new hardware to arrive, so I will be busy setting these up. I will follow up on this for sure.

If you ring the CMS number, I think the conversation will go a little like this:
Cyper: Hi. Can I speak to Rebecca Saunders?
CMS: Who?
Cyper: Rebecca Saunders?
CMS: I think you might have the wrong number.
Cyper: David Brown?
CMS: Who?
Cyper: Michael Richardson?
CMS: Who?
Cyper: Are you building an asic bitcoin miner?
CMS: A what?
Cyper: Nevermind.

Now please everyone create a list of questions that can easily and unambiguously reveal that this indeed is a scam when asked over the phone.
And another list in case it is worth going there in person.

Guys, we need to use some common sense here.

If you were "Rebecca", and saw this thread proving beyond any serious doubt CTS Miner is a SCAM, but you actually had a real product and just botched the rollout, what would you do?

Very simple:  You would shoot a quick video introducing yourself (i.e. showing that you exist), and showing your fab facility (with you in the video to prove its real), post it on youtube, and direct this forum to that video.  It would take you 1 hour, and your "first phase" of orders would be filled in 24 hours.  (Search youtube for butterflylabs if you want to see examples).  I.e. 1 hour of work on such a video would net you $5 MILLION DOLLARS IN PRE-SALES.  Is it reasonable that they would not invest this 1 hour to make $5 million if they COULD?

But since there is no "Rebecca," no fab facility, no 20nm chips, and nothing but a smelly criminal's apartment somewhere, that will not be happening.

The people arguing that there is even a chance that this is a legitimate company are either straight-up fools, or in on it.

Nobody has an issue with this?

Fucking kidding me right? That's the logo of the "30yr old business" on a shed.

I leave for a few hours and you guys check Google Maps and freak out cause you don't see it.  If you spent a couple of extra minutes and looked around you would have found it.  It was very close to their mark, but Google Doesn't always provide the right coordinates, so you have to fine tune it.  They didn't do that, so it was off a little. It was just on the next street.  These are the correct coordinates: 51.865074,0.372607

To be fair, this is not the same photo of the building on the CMS website, which unfortunately is common practice for companies.

First of all, that's still not a microprocessor fab facility. Second, look at the logo on the picture I provided and the address. That's unit 17, that's the one that "cms" says is theirs, that's their logo from the website. Nobody is freaking out, it's just a big stinky scam. You have to be a complete jackhole to ship off bitcoin to these people with that picture as your evidence.... sad.

Also, the sign on the building you posted says Corporate Mailing Solutions... Is that Cambridge Microprocessor Systems?? You suck at this.

New tidbit:

http://www.ctsminer.com/what-are-asic-miners/

Quite a lot of the text is copied from here

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application-specific_integrated_circuit

Some of it is word for word including commas and punctuation. The rest is just bullshit filler.

Not very good for Steve Hodgesons credibility if you ask me.

When you were doing all that vigorous research Phoenix/maui, did you look at CMS's product page?
http://www.cms.uk.com/cms_products.html
The products they produce range in price from £25 - £95. The premises RickJames found on google seem appropriate for a small company producing products in that price range.

Anyone who believes these is a 20nm production facility behind those doors needs their head examined.

Just so they will know better the next time Phoenix/maui, this is what a fab facility looks like:

Below are some pics of my orders from KNC & CTS Miner.  As well as the message from ebay. They deleted both my listing because of the 30 day policy.  I sold them both before eBay deleted them.

Don't ask me for anything else, because you are not going to get it.  If you don't believe me, I don't care.  If you think CTS is a scam, then don't buy one.

BTW, I found another possible location, but it's so far from the road, that it way too blurry to read.  It looks like the CMS logo, but really hard to tell.  Look for it yourself.
