There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Keeping gender/sex; race, etc. out of criticism/scepticism about a company is probably a good policy. Let's not degrade 50% of the population, we need them for Bitcoin's legitimacy.

The excitement was too much, so I did a little internet sleuthing  Tongue

As we are operating from the same factory and offices as our parent company, if you could call us before you arrive so we can let security know we are expecting you, but that won't an issue. If you know the area, we're in Zone D of the industrial estate. We have the big triple unit!

Which lead me to this company at that address:
http://www.cms.uk.com/cms_company_profile.html
As you can see at the top of that page, the phone number tallies.
Edit: No, it doesn't. It's one digit out  Shocked Clever!

So who are Cambridge Microprocessor Systems?

http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/cambridge-microprocessor-systems

They have indeed been around for 30 years.

Zone D is listed as one of their previous addresses.

So why don't ctsminer say they are Cambridge Microprocessor Systems, if they are?
Why no photos of test rigs?
How come all these highly trained professionals do not have a linkedin profile? Or if you google their names, they do not exist? I find that almost impossible to beleive in this day and age.
And the fact their social media, website and bitcointalk accounts were only registered in 2014? You can't discover bitcoin and build a bitcoin miner *that* quickly can you?  Cheesy

I also find this part of their spec amusing:
Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series Liquid Cooler
Fans: 5 x 120mm

One water cooler for 4 asic chips?  Smiley And Corsair coolers, really?

I still think it's a scam. They are doing everything wrong if they want to prove they are legit.

They have done some damn good work to fake/hide their identity though Cheesy

Or, we could contact them and set up an appointment, like respectable human beings approaching a well-established business.  Like they offered in their opening post.  Just a thought.

I think something to prove these 4 lovely individuals exist would be quite easy. A selfie/group photos of them all outside the Cambridge Microprocessor Systems buildings (obviously showing the company sign) or next to the industrial estate sign. Maybe they don't have linkedin, but I assume they have mobile phones capable of taking photos?  Cheesy

Well that one is easier to dismember, as they stole the photo for the scrypt miner from https://openrigs.com/

But I would like a 3TH bitcoin miner named "Maggot" Cheesy

Is it just me, or do Rebecca's shoulders look - completely weird??? I could be wrong, maybe she is a female bodybuilder in her spare time?

Or maybe it's due to too many late nights fabbing those 20nm chips in her kitchen  Cry

Look at the home page

Then look at this:

https://www.facebook.com/microprocessors/timeline
Huh.  That does increase my skepticism a bit.

That chip they show on facebook is a TRADEMARKED CHIP from another company called "Handshake Solutions", and it is NOT a mining chip.  So yes, they illegally used that trademark (not copyright, i'm a lawyer), and yes, that is illegal in Britain and everywhere else.

NOTE THAT "REBECCA", AKA VINNY, HAS NOT ANSWERED THE SIMPLE QUESTION THAT COULD SORT THIS ALL OUT:  WHO IS YOUR "WORLD FAMOUS" PARENT COMPANY?Huh

And BTW, the photo they showed was of a TRADEMARKED product.  There is no legal way to use a trademark to advertise a different product.  The entire purpose of trademark is to avoid consumer confusion.  Using a trademarked product as a "stand in" for a different product is the definition of a trademark violation.   I.e. you can't "sell" or "lend" your trademark like you can your copyright (which is to protect a creative work of some type from commercial copying) for a different product.  Handshake Solutions would NEVER have consented to this fraudulent use of their trademark, EVER.

This company STOLE IT.

I was looking for this photo elsewhere and found these:

I guess they must be all scam.

If that turns out not to be a scam, which I highly doubt I will go and check myself.
