However there needs to be a fair level playing ground. Dont forget prices have been massively inflated over the past week due to the positron launch and other new coins. To make it more fair. I'll cut the fee down to 0 until the changeover. That's as fair as i can make it

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Fee for what? The renters or the owner of the rented rigs?

I understand it's a PITA , but in today's world you have to stay fair and competitive or the next guy (or business) will take your clients away by offering better service or refunds, etc..

Just FYI. Thought I'd chime in to maybe save face from the issues that people aren't too happy about . (I've been contacted by a bunch of members asking about skipping Betarigs and moving on).

Go Big or Go Home.

Is BetaRigs having problems?  I rented a rig, and payed, and it shows 2 confirmations on the blockchain, but still says waiting payment.

And on the rig page it says I have 18 minutes, yet on "my rigs" dashboard it says I have 48 minutes...

So....

Was the payment the correct amount? Also nice spot. Let me fix that we extended the time to 1 hour when we were moving payment processors and i must have forgotten to change it back on the other page

Yes it was for the correct amount.  The rig was just released back for rental - so it never went through. But 3 confirms on blockchain.

I'll pm you txid and refund address.

Thanks!

Something else I've noticed, the first part of the graph goes haywire once the rental has been going for a while, makes it look like the rig wasn't hashing at the start.

That certainly isnt an issue on our end. I rented 2 rig's myself yesterday of which none have that issue. It started at 22:44 and by 22:50 it was at full speed. While the other i rented at 9:15 and was full speed by 9:25.

it might show at the end that diagonal in the graph, but we know miners were working ok
