13 hours no response from ticket, 100mh rented completely gone to waste on dead pool as pools will not change, My advice:
AVOID BETARIGS.COM LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Try to talk to rig owners that u rented from.
If they had a backup pool set , maybe you can arrange some sort of compensation.
Its not nice to start raining bad rep ass soon as something goes wrong

I have spoke to renters they cant do anything about it apart from give me extra time which is just wasting their hash more.

I don't bad rep usually, this has been going on for over 24 hours with no response anywhere from Betarigs with a lot of people losing money, they deserve all the bad rep they get and people need to be warned before losing any more money.

Yes betarigs has issues today. I've used them since january and they have always cleared up issues and been pretty fair. I recommend you send tickets and it will be sorted promptly, usually within 24 hours. No, I'm not affiliated with betarigs but I do use them to lease my rigs. Cool

Yes, several times and my ring is still stuck at Rented - ends in a few moments for more than 4 hours. Right now my rig is online and hashing at my backup pool, but unfortunately unable to rent it.
Send me the rig ID so I can have a look.

Sorry to hear that. Here are some things you might try:
1. Create a duplicate rig profile/account and start renting again, the effort is less than 13 hours and cheaper than the lost profit, I'm sure you can complete this task.
2. Not post huge red panicky banners against the service that you suggest gives you a highly profitable edge and prevent others from obtaining them too.

1. Yeah that's what it'll do throw some more BTC down the drain! How do you propose that I re-rent rigs i'm already stuck in rental with?
2. Profitable edge? it's done nothing but cost me money, if their service had a backup pool option like other sites it would not be an issue

Why are they not updating anyone after all this time?

Do you work for them? If so can you please make the rigs I have rented point at the pool that's set!

See I didn't have the issue with the rental period in terms of when the renters time period was over, my rigs all switched to my backups. For the entire duration, I monitored the rigs and they were hashing on betarigs for the renter's pool. The issue even though they are on backup pools now is they remain ending in a few moments so no new people can rent them.

I'm not trashing them I'm giving people an alternative, as some people still need to rent rigs now and are losing time and money, they are trashing themselves by not showing their faces when lots are having issues, people are still signing up now and coming on IRC, and having the same issue as me cant change pool and not mining but paid.

When having issues they should at least stop taking peoples money.

Right now my X11 rig (the stuck one) is offline, I've switched to X13. Anyway, my stuck rig ID is gemmacoin-4967

Thanks for your help!

while rigs are stuck, they are not making profits either. so i doubt it is their intention to do that.
seams to me they took some time off, in a pretty bad moment Cheesy

For the rigs owners:

Uhm... I may be wrong but, wasn't the server URL, userid & password to be used shown in the rig page?
It's not showing now! Am I looking in the wrong place?
Or could this be linked to the issues (like a db not responding)?

Oh! Now the config data reappeared, and the miner is finally free!
The website seems also much faster.

OFFICIAL SITE UPDATE

We are back to normal!

Basically, since yesterday evening, there was a bug that would prevent the rigs that had ended their rental to become available for renting again. On top of that, this was making the website slow on certain pages.
RIGS NEVER MINED MORE THAN WHAT THE CUSTOMER BOUGHT. Even if it was written "ends in a few moment", the rig did end the mining.

At 18:10 UTC today, we are back to normal, finished rentals have been marked as finished on the frontend, and the website is fast again.

At Betarigs, we are far than enough server resources to handle 10 times the amount of rigs we currently are handling. This issue was unrelated to a server being overloaded, this was an unfortunate bug that made the website not being updated correctly and slowing it down.

Sorry for this!

Cheers,
Mux

Thanks for the response.

Betarigs really needs to implement a failover type system. I enjoy using betarigs but am seeing myself looking at the competitor first for the additional features they have.
