c'mon guys, i got bored....
we're not downloading a new wallet since two days.
although we're deleting chain and redownloading it 3-5 times a day, we also want to download new wallets.
i can understand that making two or more wallets a day is a lot of work but..
please make us at least one new version everyday, so we can be sure u're still working..

I would really love to compile a wallet, but compiling the source on windows is fucked up. I'm a tech guy, I know how to build stuff, I do this for a living. But compiling the source on windows is just a pain in the ass.

there is a guy around, 'nocoin'
he compiled wallets in less than 5 min. at some launchs with failed windows wallet including mooncoin.
you can also succeed to make it if you focus on.  Cheesy
(i must admit the devs of the coins i talk about were more 'piece of work' than s4w3d0ff  Tongue )

Well, if you think it's that easy, try it Wink

Ive been mining over at altcoinpool for quite some time now. We are going through the blocks but I have not got a single confirmation in that whole time everything is still unconfirmed. Display errors again???

at my low ~175kH/s that is ~16hrs of mining with out a single confirmation. Sketchy no¿

Maybe you want to give my MPOS a try: http://mpos.cga.anomalypool.com/

Payout and confirmation works, just got my first payout Smiley

Word on the street is altcoinpool.org is a scampool, and to change your passwords if they have them.

We don't rely on them anymore as the only MPOS pool for CGA, so maybe the MPOS fans just move over to http://mpos.cga.anomalypool.com/

http://mpos.cga.anomalypool.com/ finds blocks on a regular basis, very stable so far, superlow latency. I think this should be also fit miners with (very) low hashrate.

30 min with 11+Mh..

This can happen. Sometimes blocks take more time than usual (up to 15 minutes), if the pool doesn't find 5 blocks or so and then is this "giant" hole between 2 blocks, we can end up with something like 30 minutes without a find.

i know but seems that giant holes are occuring too much for pool

[/quote]

haha I plan to take a stab at wallet compilation. I don't think it will be easy and fully expect to suffer.  Cry
Hopefully tomorrow. I've been dealing with a lot of real life junk lately.

I think we should maybe get together a bounty to pay for an exchange bribe. As we know there was no premine so it will be up to the community to get together something.

All this after whatever other issues are sorted and we get a few pages of happy posts going. Just tossing it out there as the best thing to bump hash rate will be if cga hits a well known exchange.

Stop ranting, mycointr. Seriously.

I'll do the math for you:
  • With a blocktime of 40 seconds you'll probably get 90 blocks/hour.
  • More than 2/3rd of the blocks are rewardless, this reduces the minable CGAto 30 per hour.
  • The pool has something like 10 mhs, not 11, because of invalids (which are counted in the hashrate). The anomalypool.com's p2pool has an average of 24 mhs, so MPOS has a little bit less than 1/3rd of the network hashrate. Round it up, you get 8 to 10 per hour.
  • Beacause MPOS is crap, the "Last Hour" is not correct, if you take a closer look you get around 10 in an hour, that is exactly what odds suggest.

i'm not ranting.... seriously.

that's half of solo mining reward.

with your calculation, i can get around 0.35-0.4 coin per hour @400kh,
that will be like 4 coin per 12h.

i get around 4 coin per 6h with solo mining.

EDIT: maybe it's because of this coins rewardless blocks, idk.
but pools are not effective as solomining..

I agree with you. Pools play their advantages at high network hashrate, not at small networks like CGA's.

OK the binaries are up on CGAnomaly.com!

Windows
OSX 10.7
Linux

Thank you all for your patience. This will be the last MANDATORY update for a while.

I have been contacting exchanges left and right. https://poloniex.com/ informed me that they are going to put CGA on their exchange shortly, so keep your eyes peeled.

Also, try not to forget that you can vote 10x a day @ http://www.allcrypt.com/beta/voting.php.
