So I switched to the MPOS pool last night - has the coin got a lot harder to mine in the last few days or is the MPOS pool less efficient in some way?
yea it is harder to mine now, check page 1 there is a update about it
The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Cachecoin now trades between 0.001 and 0.002 on poloniex. It is also a new coin, but it has larger current supply - 213000, while CGA is currently at 11400. If Cryptographic Anomaly manages to get similar attention and make similar volume (4 BTC for CACH in the last 24h), if all other factors are equal, the rate should be between 0.02 and 0.04 BTC per CGA.
That's probably a long shot, but anyway the key factor for any price is the ratio between supply and demand - if the demand is more than the supply, the price will rise. This means that the early miners (or dare I say, believers) hold the key to the higher price - as long as there is ANY demand, if the supply is less, the market will respond with higher exchange rate - and if that brings more attention to the coin, we may be lucky enough to witness the situation that awesomeperson451 has already described.

BTW I think I will use your catch phrases "The elusive coin" and "Changing the rules" of crypto-currencies. I like them a lot and they do describe this coin very well.

I agree - great stuff.

There are some superb entries in the logo contest, how are you going to make a decision?

I made a poll with the entries here: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/5066-logo-contest-voting-poll/

I tried to group the entries that were similar together (because I could only fit 20 in the poll and we had 25 individual entries). If a "group" of entries get picked we will have another pool to determine exactly which logo we want to use.

To be honest, I keep an eye on #CGAnomaly on freenode and saw you've been talking about the need of efforts on the marketing of the coin, so I tried to synthesize its features in one sentence (the way I understand them, of course). I'm glad it's appreciated and hope that it would help CGA to stand out.

I have messaged the owner of altcoinpool.com (nbphuoc) on reddit about the status of cga.altcoinpool.com, since he posted his pool on the CGA subreddit. In the interest of keeping the community informed, I have included a screenshot of the message I sent (plus the text if you can't open it), and will also include any replies he sends back.

My original message, sent Thursday February 13, 23:32:47 2014 UTC:
https://i.imgur.com/KxWzkZf.png

Text version if you can't see the image:
"nbphuoc,

Could you confirm for myself and everyone else in the community whether or not your pool for CGA (cga.altcoinpool.com) will be coming back? Additionally, it seems some people have coins stored there. Please either return these and make a public statement that you shut down the pool, or bring the pool back as soon as possible so that people can withdrawal their coins if they so wish. Until you act, I have removed your pool from the subreddit.

I look forward to seeing your reply on the main CGA forum post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=437950.0). I will be posting this message and your reply there, as I feel that keeping communications transparent is important for the community in this case.

Neither do I, but I read some people that used a password at only altcoinpool.org and another site got the other site hacked.

Hi,
I shut the pool down because the chain has been rapidly forked  and not stable. I thought the coins was useless so didn't care about it.
The database is still untouch. Please send me an email to admin@altcoinpool.org to claim your coins. (remember to use the email that you registered)

Thank you for notifying me about the issue, but I don't usually use reddit so I didn't get your message.
I'm only noticed about the issue after lemoncoin devs notifed me.
It would be great if next time you contact me via the personal message in bitcointalk.
