Okay, PoS figures are a little confusing. So this will pay 2.5% every 15 days, or ~60% per year? That's a decent change from the 1.5% or so per annum that this coin use to have.

its not  60% because it drops by 50% every 6 months I know it seams like I am diluting ADT but the fact is ADT was originally meant too have 180 bill coins and we are currently at only 70 bill

So is it rated at 60% PoS per year atm, and then will be 30% PoS per year later?

from block 100,000 it will be 2.5% / 15 days then it drops by 0.5% / 6 months for 2.5 years then drops by 50% / 6 months untill it hits 0.0635%

how is testing going?

testing is going well but until the api issue is fixed it cant be released as the exchanges and block explorers need it to work

if anyone knows about the API code it would be very useful if they talk to e.exchanger Smiley

sorry for the late reply's its been a busy week here

I don't really now much about the API the issue is that a soon as something connects via it a runtime error pops up

alright so for me at least to take this seriously we need the exact issue posted and exact progress of development of the patch. Its been way too long now with way too many promises. It needs to be 100% transparent like it was when this patch got started.

I keep asking for exchanger to post the progress here but he hasn't Sad

from talking to people it is possible That the base error is in fact handled, but that the handling part messes up and causes a runtime error7

I have asked e.exchanger to post the changes to github so that other people that know about the api could take a look at it and that should be done tomorrow

I know I haven't been around as much as I would like but I have been busy with work stuff not that I really want to be doing work stuff lol

Can we label e.exchanger as a scammer since he is ignoring this thread and yet posting on two other threads today?  Zack, did you pay him the btc already?

 Huh
hi, zack, can you tell me what's the problem of ADT now?
Maybe I can try to find some coder for help.

I don't see a cow around this mother fucker but I call bullshit. E.exchanger is playing us just like all the other coders. More BTC went to waste on him. I only have about 25 million ADT but I'm about to have 0. It has been months now and still no results. I don't blame Zack for anything except trying to help. Someone has it out for this coin and seems like they wont stop until its dead, which seems like it might be in the near future. I hate this for ADT because it seemed to have such potential to be a great thing but I think we are in its final days unless someone pulls a miracle out of their ass. ADT I bid you farewell and hope that Zack is very prosperous in his next endeavor.

most of the btc was paid after his first attempt at the patch as the patch was working very well he has been working on the patch and communicating over Skype but I agree he is dragging this out Sad

it looks like he is no different to all others after all.

he is still talking and is still working on it and that is far more than other people have done

he needs to work faster or ask another coder for help if he is stuck on part of the api code

Huh

from testing e.exchangers last attempt at the patch the only issues I have found so far are with the API unfortunately without that fully working it wont work for exchanges block explorers and mining

ADT will not die even if I have to save money up for a few months then get back to ADT I will do that Smiley

I know it may be a bit late to make changes here and I do not own any ADT so this is merely a suggestion.

Why not just have the float hit certain targets over time rather than a percentage of stake? If you had the float to hit your targets and generated coins distributed through staking, the amount received through staking would be variable depending staking participation.

The way I would do ADT would be between 5-10% increase in money supply over the first year with a gradual reduction down to 1% a year or a fixed amount.

Fees would be set at 0.1-0.2% and pay out over the amount of blocks equal to the minimum staking period.

If reward were dependent on staking participation, anyone not staking would be giving up their reward to those that are staking along with further reward from fee sharing.

Just a couple things to consider, I hope it may help in some way

very soon we will celebrate the 1 year anniversary of this -always-broken-crypto-
.
it's funny, and sad at the same time, that whenever i check this thread, once or twice per month, it's still and always broken or have problems.
there isn't even room for projects, services and developments... just repair and repair, like no plan even possible to see this coin going anywhere, as if few ppl were simply laughing and 'milking' this poor zack and the few believers that are left with a tiny bit of hope.
