...so in light of the events so far honestly how do you see the future? Can this coin be restored to its full functionality and if so can it be done in a reasonably short time?

if hashpower is put on the coin it will run fine the only issue is when people have a boatload of coins that need to stake it will send them on there own fork to patch that issue it wouldent take much but it would be better to do what was planed and change the stake amounts / patch all the bugs in 1 hardfork

i cant see why everyone says they cant do it as somone must be making the crapload of POS coins

well I have a boat load of coins and it was fine for a while after Ahmed did his fix but now again it is out of sync not only I am not making anything but can't even do a thing with it let alone trade. As a user/investor I don't really care about technicalities anymore I just would like to know the answer to my questions in plain words please.

I have sync issues now as well.  It was good for a couple rounds of staking but won't sync now.  All my coins are in staking status.

According to my client's view of the blockchain, regular minting seems to have stopped around 12 days ago, with only a few PoS blocks added since then.

I just restarted the client and there look to be at least 3 different forks:

        "startingheight" : 101313   (5 peers, including myself)
        "startingheight" : 101329   (1 peer ... ?!?)
        "startingheight" : 103997   (2 peers)
        "startingheight" : 87325    (3 peers)

Okay, so it looks like I may still be on the "main" chain, but why isn't it moving?

edit: I enabled staking and generated a few blocks. The other peers seem to have followed - now at height 101318. So maybe it's just that everyone has staking disabled.

Any idea how to fix this error in Windows enviroment? http://pastebin.com/tSRAxZdZ

I found out that ADTv2 coin is bases something old coin and it's required Qt 4.8.x and old Mingw 4.6 to build. Currently that Mingw 4.6 is hard find beacaus it's not any more available in
offcial releases. Is there any plan to merge Qt 5 or least use latest Mingw to ADTv2 source? That should be help to developper find faster to solution to fix issues if can us latest stabile available enviroments.
Now this source code is very hard to get compiled with latest Openssl librys etc etc becuase there is not 4.8.x Qt eviroment binaryes availabe with mingw 4.6 (have to build all to by self if like to develop ADT wallets)

I can fork update ADTv2 to blackcoin/novacoin sources if needed.

If you need miners pointed wherever, say the words... we are all tired of waiting.
