No Sad

Well that sucks. His account here shows that he was logged in yesterday, but he really seems to have stopped responding to everyone.

Hope he is OK.

He may have been overwhelmed with everything going on.
"Man, I left vacation to return to these comments!?"

At least his account still works. Looking forward to moving forward.

My miners are running fine and showing that the pool is still alive.  I would try to point it to another pool and do a cold boot--fully disconnecting power and booting it back up.

Thanks. I tried the cold boot and I checked my internet connection. I am thinking my Monarch has died. I suppose I will try to find someone that knows how to repair them. Meanwhile I am going to look for another miner. Bummer.

If I am not mistaken, the Monarch runs off an app on the PC connected with a usb cable.  You might try a different usb cable, rebooting the PC and / or reinstalling the app before giving up.

Looks interesting.
That Hash Extracted Rate Product and Difficulty Extrapolated Reward Payment cracked a smile.
What's the benefit of that over slush so far? How's stability?
Is anyone else minting new coins or just Elig?

There are two forks of p2pool running, each with about 2.5PH last I looked.

Current HW: 2x Apollo, 2x Apollo BTC, 2x Apollo II
Retired HW: 3x 2PAC, 3x Moonlander 2, 2x AntMiner S7-LN, 5x AntMiner U1, 2x ASICMiner Block Erupter Cube, 4x AntMiner S3, 4x AntMiner S1, GAW Black Widow, and ZeusMiner Thunder X6

Gotcha. It's nice to see so many with good Core support.

I used to be here years ago and still check in from time to time.
This is odd most miners on these big pools don't like p2p. I was on the forked p2p pool as it has more hashrate yet my miners really work too hard with the required difficulty of a p2pool and found the nasty and something ending in .pw worked fine.
However I'm back to pools like this that have better difficulty control. CKpool (not solo one) is very interesting project as the p2pool fork is as well.

Just curious, why would you care where someone else points their miners?

I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)

Some people care because we don't want centralization of mining resources. That's why I mined on eligius, and why I prefer to mine to p2pool. It's actually a quite fair little system with no possibility for an errant pool owner to run off with all the payouts. There is a 1% donation to the guy who built it, but that's it and you can disable that if you want as a node..

i care because miners needs to get paid for their work. and im not saying this because i want you to mine at the pool im in. just go find another small pool that pays you for your work.

then you can buy more gear and mine on.

i would never use my hash power in a pool with no payouts or info on the situation
