I think it's better not to put everything in one place. I like to have some ETH and some altcoins that I've carefully chosen.
yes maybe you do a lot of ways by some people because investment if done only on one coin may have a higher risk and if you divide by a few coins there might be a profitable one in your investment

If you are looking for a safe bet, ethereum would be a wiser choice. But if you are looking for risk big, earn big, then you should find some promising alts.

I choose altcoins as I believe that they can grow very well in price. Here is an example of a coin  PPT and a project XAUp .

Hey guys what do you think? Is it better to hold ether or altcoins? I think alts are better because they can give you more profit, however it is quiet risky to hold them.

Eth it is for me at all times but with crypto have learnt not to put all eggs in one basket. So holding both wouldn't be a bad idea

If we take into account the real analysis of many analysts of the future development of ethereum, then I really hope for its leading position in the cryptocurrency market. Of course, this will all happen when the level of investment rises and interest in BTC falls.

I will prefer to be hodling ethereum than any other altcoin. In fact I also like to hodl ethereum instead of hodling bitcoin. I know many people might like hodling the inverse of the ones I chose to hodl.
Why only ETH? Instead, you can diversify your money. So, tokens can depend it, but it does not mean they can not increase without ETH increase. Also, try to store BTC, because without it crypto also does not exist.

Don't you know that ether can also make a lot of profits? isn't ether more likely to make a profit compared to other altcoins? ether is the same as bitcoin, they have shown us that they can have high prices and others do not, so if we calculate it based on opportunities then ether and bitcoin will be more likely to generate profits than other coins and the most important is that the risk is much lower because they have a good team and have a large community so that when they fall, they have a much greater chance of recovering compared to other coins

Who cares. I think Ethereum is the leader among altcoins, but apart from Ethereum there are many more good coins that are worth investing in.

Holding Ethereum is also very important. But in my opinion, you also have to hold some Altcoins that can make you profitable. The development of Altcoin is now very good and you can buy the top 10 coins. We can rely on these coins and now it's time to buy them.

These two are both altcoins are they are capable of making a x100 gain within a short period of time so I think it will be worth investing or holding eth and at the same time, some few alts so that in case one fails, the others may replace it. We do not invest in only one coin even if you think one coin is better than the others.

I prefer both rather than holding one of them, altcoin gives me guarantee to get a huge profit instantly as long as that was getting a lot of support from the market and there was no any problem with it.

Ethereum is very important because we obviously need to pay a fee when we want to make transactions in the wallet, even though altcoin has a very good development but we cannot leave Bitcoin because the price of some altcoins is very influential from the price of Bitcoin if we leave Bitcoin and of course altcoin, of course the price won't grow well, so it's better to share it in investing in Crypto.

Without bitcoin every coin in this market is an altcoins. So ethereum is also an altcoins. But ethereum is the highest market cap altcoins in this market. You can go for any coin if you know about this market and you know how this whole market works. It depends on you if you are new to this market and don't know too much then go for big cap coins like ethereum xrp ada eos many more. But of you know how this market works you can go for any altcoins low or mid cap.

Obviously Ether. Ether are less dump then altcoin. Ether will pump gradually, but all altcoin are not pump gradually. These are high pump or dump. For that reason I choose Ether.

You correctly noticed that keeping alts is very risky. I tend more to Ethereum, because Ethereum is a complete environment for implementing decentralized applications (Dapps) using smart contracts. Ethereum is more popular and demanded.

Ethereum is still an altcoin dear, just that it's the pace setter. Sure thing to do is to hold some ETH and other altcoins with good potential which look promising in the near future. There are many coins with great project development and progress, consider having some on your portfolio in preparation for the bull run.

Ether or altcoin or tokens that I think are the same, are has same risky. If you talk about the best coin recommendations for the long term HODL, the top 10 in coinmarketcap are the best including ether and bitcoin, for low risk nobody knows because depending on the price of bitcoin if the bitcoin price grows, all altcoin prices will also go up.

Ethereum is just like another altcoin but its much safer. Many good project and good coin these days and i think worth to invest. For example, EOS is good coin and i think could compete with ethereum in the future

Majority of the altcoins is comparatively low so i think alt hold is the best way in the current market perspective. Ethereum hold will not be satisfy you end of the day because other many stable and potential coin try to overtake ETH. New projects highly focus and concern with EOS,TRON,LTC and RIPPLE.
