When we implemented the Gravity functionality last week, we used the same settings as about 15 other coins (https://forum.megacoin.in/index.php?topic=2791.0).  However we have learned that these settings can leave us open to attack, and in fact someone was attacking the network this morning and today.  It's sad someone is trying to do that with our coin, but we have acted quickly to stop them.  This is why we are rushing this update to the community.  We contacted Dr. Kimoto himself who advised us that the new fix would prevent this type of attack again.

imho this needs more work, a few boosters... specially more promotion and initiatives, and also improved design the in main site and better layout and access to information (the main post has these huge red letters urging users to upgrade, and finding the proper link to do so is anything but intuitive). 

With 90+ billion coins, and full of people eager to cash out the early millions mined, this needs a solid community to take off. And the first impression has much room for improvement. No matter how cool the concept can be, concept is not enough. Hopefully the efforts in progress will help.

This is part of a crypto coin's life cycle... Most of the noobs will panic at this stage and sell out their Karmas... Then that coins will reach strong hands and those who hold will make a nice profit later...
