Wow, I might actually have been less surprised if Spurs lost, but what do you think guys, when a game ends zero-nil it always makes me feel like neither sides tried hard enough, so couldn't score, and also didn't take enough risks that allowed their opponent in.

I didn't watch the game but sometimes 0-0 scorelines can be deceptive so look at the other stats. Could have been lots of chances and woodwork hit etc but none of them just go in. I had 1-1 on that match. I've got 0-0 for tonight's game as well. Leeds really need at least a point from this. If they don't get something I think they could be in real trouble as they've got some very tough fixtures coming up. Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea all in a row. I doubt they're getting any points from those three so could come down to their last two games against Brighton and Brentford depending on the results of the other relegation battlers.

Fair enough, I know I've watched one or two 0-0 games which were exciting except for a lack of goals, I also seen 0-0 games with plenty of cards so that's a different kind of exciting but still, in English football especially you feel like if there is no goal, there is nothing to light up the game. Goals always change a game I think Smiley

Anyway spot on on another 0-0 game, I would never have thought to put that even if going for a draw!

Two teams like Palace and Leeds which usually score and concede goals seeing a 0-0 result for yesterday night game sounds a bit unbelievable for me but it is what it is.I thought we would have seen a festival of goals from both sides during such game but seeing a nil to nil result is the most unexpected result for me.Games without goals rarely are beautiful and are so only when both teams attack but yesterday it was just because of Leeds goalkeeper that the result stayed like that and the problem is that Palace dominated the game except for ball possession everything else they were superior.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Talking about 0-0's being deceptive, I thought Crystal Palace played well, and had multiple chances to score. I thought Leeds were poor, and in the end they probably got lucky with the point. I'll never bet against Palace at home, they're a completely different team, and they have one of the best atmosphere's in English football.

To be honest I'm still a little annoyed at Everton, and it has kind of cemented my view that I'd like to see them get regelated, and to be honest looking at how they're playing, they might just do it. If they get a point against Chelsea playing like they did against us, I think they'll do it. However, they turn up against Chelsea in the same manner, and also lose in the same manner I think they'll lose all fight.

To be honest, you've got to question Pickford's attitude when he's time wasting as much as he did, but also the fact he's winking to the fans as he's doing it, when ideally to get out of danger they need to be winning games.

Anyway, enough about Everton. I like the idea of Liverpool winning by 3-0, Man City winning 4-0, and I think Chelsea will just about do it against Man Utd, going for a 0-2.

As I said in some different topic, City and Liverpool are in a league of thwir own. Nobody can even dream to match their pace throughout the season.
I think it was Allan on the Everton team that only had two successful passes, both from the kick off. I haven't really verified that statistic, but if it is true that's pretty insane for a midfield player.

You get about $50 in freebets, so I hope you have your Sportsbet username handy Wink It's definitely fun fact, but comes with a very sweet prize that kinda makes up for your pool fee. Great idea to keep everyone fighting every week in this pool no matter what. I for one am really glad I never gave up as I never imagined I could be this high this late!

Next is Utd vs Chelsea. Chelsea is easy pick?

It is for me. Arsenal was an easy pick too in my mind, only because of United's form and horrible state of play, but their last game they played about a third as the better side, so you never know which side turns up. Could actually be better without Maguire and Pogba.

To be honest, you've got to question Pickford's attitude when he's time wasting as much as he did, but also the fact he's winking to the fans as he's doing it, when ideally to get out of danger they need to be winning games.

Yeah, Alisson had his retribution too once we got Origi to secure the game... lying down after a tame catch. That team was not playing to win, in a derby. You really have to question their desire now -- or that of their coach. At this point, you wonder if this Everton should stay up at the expense of teams like Burnley who happen to be half decent to watch. Or maybe I'm just saying that as still can't really get used to the weirdly captivating phenomenon called Weghorst who stirs in me the same eerie fascination of watching Crouch dribbling.

yeah, this seems to be the true
there is obviously some issue with Lampard, and players are more willing to visit Championship (or team to visit Championship, because most will just go away), than to see Lampard succeed in avoiding relegation

nevertheless, I think that we will pull Leeds in Championship, if any, not Burnley, they will probably stay in Premier

Yeah, you will still have it on your nickname in the leaderboard until the current round is over and then it will switch over to the new yellow cap winner

Could actually be better without Maguire and Pogba.

Last game against Arsenal was without Maguire and Pogba as well but we still lose the game. Still keeping my hopes up with the team by picking 1-0 against Chelsea ( yeah Im such a clown Roll Eyes ). At this rate, United needs to win to make sure that they get that either of the two spot for the Europa League so hoping that the team would win against Chelsea

I'm not even being hyper critical because they're a rival. Toss that aside they are genuinely one of the worst teams to watch in the Premier League. At least Burnley do have a bit of bite to them. It doesn't help that I really dislike Richardlison as a football player, pretty much everything he does on that football pitch annoys me, but I guess that's part of his quality, he can wind people up on the pitch. Although, even if Everton stay up, I don't see him staying past this summer. A lot of those players have already mentally given up, and they'll just be looking to jump to the next ship.

Whether or not they'll be jumping from a sinking ship remains to be seen, but I do think so. Everton are going to put in another horrible display of football against Chelsea, despite needing as many points as possible, and ultimately they'll likely concede a goal in the second half as they get tired, and Chelsea step up the pace. Just like we did.

I've mixed feelings about guys like Lamps. He did favourably at Chelsea but there was a deep, deep squad of talent to work with. And I honestly feel that clubs these days aren't willing to look at managers and take a chance with them the way they do with players.

I mean, Lamps didn't have a good managerial CV. He didn't even have the proper licenses for an EPL club (if I recall correctly, his license is actually only typical for reserve squad or 2nd-tier in top leagues).

And this why I had my reservations about Gerrard coming rightaway to EPL (he has a license upgrade above Lamps) -- though I think Villa is a good fit to cut his teeth. I hope he knows (and I'm sure he does) he needs to earn his CV first. Rangers was a great step but it's not quite enough just yet. License is one thing. Experience another. Even Rooney I would say is a more proven manager than Lamps -- but not sexy enough a name for a club like Everton?

Nah I get it. It annoys me to see the best player in a team waste his talents writhing on the ground (for example) or like at United sitting on the bench (Sancho was supposed to light the league up, look at how far he's fallen in one season).

Rooney would be a great fit, I cannot find any reason for anyone to be against him in the club, although his result with Derby is similar to Everton faith, just going from Championship to Division 1
nevertheless, looking at the schedule, there is not much to hope for, we play last round with Arsenal, that will fight for CL, and we need good point advantage prior to that match, but there is no easy schedule, except Watford and Crystal Palace at home, all teams are in good shape

Burnley has solid schedule, and Leeds seems to be our main chance to avoid relegation
maybe we could see some points over Chelsea on weekend, it is on Lampard account to play that one with his old club

Anyway spot on on another 0-0 game, I would never have thought to put that even if going for a draw!

You win some you lose some. 0-0s are probably the riskiest scoreline to go for. Probably the rarest I would have thought too, but sometimes they pay off. I really couldn't pick a winner in that fight and couldn't see any goals so it had to be a bore draw for me.

They played better than Leeds that's for sure. I watched it and don't even recall Leeds having a shot on target.

Todays game is a hard one to pick. Think I'll have to go for a draw on that one as well. I'm sure there will be goals but I could also see them both cancelling each other out as well.

In the game of today sure Chelsea is the favorite but I would not bet on them as they are playing away where Chelsea has not been consistent at all during this season. They maybe better in quality than Manchester United by I would never underestimate Manchester United when playing at home and when having in their team a player like Cristiano which can always make a difference in any game if he happens to be in top form.

Liverpool fans can't stop winning:

"Jurgen Klopp has today signed a contract extension to keep him at Liverpool until 2026"
https://twitter.com/TheAthleticUK/status/1519671543491702786

forget Salah or any other transfer/contract extension drama going on in the club right now, this is the one that Liverpool needed to secure asap!

Deserved! This is the best contract they gaved. Jurgen Klopp won them their first Premier League title after so long, then won the Champions League aswell and now Liverpool is probobly in top5 clubs in the world. They have also a big chance to win all the trophies this year. Salah is an amazing player and if he dosent want to extend they can easily find someone who can replace him.

Yup, huge news and I'm so thrilled that it has happened. It will make all other things easier as well - both contract negotiations with existing players and incoming transfers in the summer.
All players look at things like these when deciding where their future lies and Liverpool with Klopp at the helm until 2026 is a whole other thing than until 2024.

I'm really curious to see how this team will keep growing. I don't even know who can we bring in the summer that can improve us.

Now that Alcantara started playing good again I don't think Liverpool needs anybody. They could use maybe one defensive RB for rotation or world class box-to-box midfielder, not many of those some to my mind unfortunately. Maybe 10 years younger Modrić or Gerard from his prime. Better to just keep current team together and buy some young players for the future and rotation when necessary. Tsimikas seems like perfect profile, young enough to sit on bench and develop, good enough to play when Robertson needs rest.

Can't believe I didn't know about the Klopp news until now, from reading this forum haha. I'm so happy, I thought he was close to retiring already after he lost mom, but someone mentioned here I think his wife did some convincing. Well done Mrs Klopp if you really had a hand here.

I wouldn't have agreed with Trofo last season about Liverpool not needing anyone... no one needs reminding how bare our back four cupboard was all season, that we actually ended 3rd was a literal miracle. But we've been buying well, haven't we? Plugged the gaps, gave up cover, and can even afford to offload a few players now (and hopefully replace with even better signings).

Injuries can quickly change things though, but we definitely have an entire new season to sort things out with contracts and buys.

Back to the game: not sure where it's headed really. United seem to actually be playing somehow despite Chelsea getting 2 early so-so attempts., except that the extent of their adventure is failed take on by Rashford and failed bicycle kick from Ronaldo.

I was almost certain that Klopp wasn't going to resign,  I thought he was quite adamant about it, however if you hear him whenever he talks about the city, the players, and the club he has just clicked with us, which I do believe is exactly why it went from not resigning, and returning home to lets sign for another two years, and make the most of things. However, to be honest not that he has signed on for two additional years (four years in total) I'm a little more hopeful of tying him down a little longer, which I wasn't before I basically just accepted that we'll have a massive hangover period after Klopp leaves.

Seriously, if we sign Salah now on a long term deal, I might even accept not winning the quadruple...might Wink.

How can be? , nobody its talking about what a magnificent goal was scored yesterday by Cristiano Ronaldo. Again saving the United from another lost. Also they were lucky because Chelsea was so bad finishing all the opportunities they have.

I've come to terms with Ronaldo saving Manchester United. Although, ultimately its not going to amount to much. We knew Ronaldo was one of the best players to ever play the game, and he continues to prove that despite playing a the worst Manchester United team of my memory. He's incredible, however I don't know how long he'll be playing for United. I imagine this season has taken a toll on him for personal reasons, but also for the situation United as a club find themselves in. Although, if United were to lose Ronaldo that's 20+ goals gone from their rather small amount of goals, and they likely don't pick up half the points they have done with him in the team.

Seriously, I think having Ronaldo in there right now is the one thing that's preventing the camel from breaking its back. Once they lose him, dare I say it, are they regelation contenders in their current form?
