Im such a clown that I picked this against Arsenal 

it is really hard to see United play, they are not even playing football, just dancing around the pitch
and all the other teams are playing, Arsenal for sure

I tried with a draw, but was closer to Arsenal win, hopefully they will see CL next season, after all, and losing strike start

and I have to look at lower part of the table, Everton is fighting to avoid relegation, and it is getting harder by each round

Threw in quite a number of 3-1s on this round, well, every single game yesterday actually, and was mildly surprised to see the tactic semi-worked out to pull myself a couple of positions up. I don't know what made me back Villa again yesterday really, I mean, I thought they surely had to snap a 4-game losing streak and you don't have better chances to hit a Vardy-less Leicester.

Arsenal popping in a sweet 3-1 win over United is cherry... too bad they can't blame Maguire on that one.

Wow, I might actually have been less surprised if Spurs lost, but what do you think guys, when a game ends zero-nil it always makes me feel like neither sides tried hard enough, so couldn't score, and also didn't take enough risks that allowed their opponent in.

Anyway I got really lucky I think on the scores, and this is my best position in the pool ever. In fact, in any pool for the past 3 seasons.

Wow when I say it like this it's THREE years we all been doing this!

I took a live bet on them as soon as they went down to the early goal... with the Super Boost it was worth it... then the injury to Livramento really took the wind out of their sails though and Brighton in the air -- Saints had no answer to them at all really.

Then steps up JWP from out of nowhere, freekick keeper should have saved just before half time, and then out of the blocks in the second half to smack that volley in to take his tally to 10 for the season... 14 freekick goals to his name already, that guy!

Brighton 78th offside goal margin was wafer thin, bleh. Actually picked Brighton for the win in pool though so I ended up dropping precious points, and losing my bet. I love draws...

P.S. Crazy late goal from Chelski puts tumi way in front, bloody bastard.

I never expected to do this good this week and I think there are two games left who will decide the fate of the yellow cap.I found almost every game beside Tottenham and Arsenal which I didn't put at all,today Burnley gave me a perfect score,Chelsea and Southampton a close one each and Liverpool so far is giving me 1 point,if they manage to score another one it would be another close but it just finished 2-0 so 1 point.

Tomorrow game of Crystal Palace vs Leeds I don't have any idea but it should be a draw most likely or a Palace big win.

I'm on the other side of good in the last few games, I decided to trust the Wolves, again and got let down. I also changed my initial 2:0 Liverpool win to 3-0 at the last minute, that's another 1.5 points thrown down the drain for me 

I'll probably just got Chelsea and Palace for the remaining games of the game week

Well, that first half of Liverpool vs Everton must have been the most frustrating game I've watched in several years. Talk about anti football, although I don't blame them you could see that we're far superior, and they're fighting for regelation so. At one point, Richarlison literally went down from heading the ball, a pretty soft header too. Then he went down attempting a tackle, and Everton went mental because we didn't put it out.

The amount of diving was awful also. However, on the flip side Mane could have easily seen red for his two face touches, whatever you want to call them. I was surprised that Klopp kept him on for as long as he did. Thought he might have been taken off at half time.

Good game in the end, second half opened up with Everton also somewhat threatening. Although, at that point you just thought it was inevitable that we would at least score one.

I lost trust from Utd and Tottenham from long time but still I was going with Tottenham and paid the price. Fuck them! LOL

Anthony Gordon was the main threat, he managed to outpace every opponent when he had a 1v1 and plenty of space

but overall, well all saw it and the statistics don't lie, Everton were crap today, a training ground for Liverpool... just wth is this, Lampard?

have to say that did not expect much from city derby with neighbors, but Burnley is on a run, with seven points from last three rounds, and relegation spot is now ours

While we are on the topic how shitty was Everton... Did you see that stat that Thiago Alcantara had more correct passes then whole Everton team? Really tells you everything you need to know about the game.

As I said in some different topic, City and Liverpool are in a league of thwir own. Nobody can even dream to match their pace throughout the season.

I was reading one of my spam feeds from Google, which is all football news mostly and now I can't find it but supposedly Anthony Gordon was the best rated player in that team? How did that happen and yet the entire team can't even outpass one Liverpool guy?

City may have won many goals to none recently but this was a bus parker game from the readings, not sure why I picked 3-1 here lol

I'm not so good at picking draws it seems so definitely tough round. Leeds look so dangerous, but Palace also can be tricky. Draw?

I know Maguire is not the only reason why United is this bad but he is sort of the one inviting the jokes on his expanse. Like he is going out of his way to look ridiculous in the game. That kick to Pogba head was state of the art.

He's English, so there's a little extra banter to be heard about it, since obviously banter is a very British thing. Also, he does some pretty comical things at times. Honestly, he kind of reminds me of Phil Jones. Obviously, the biggest thing for Maguire is he cost so much, and has delivered nothing up to this point. At least Phil Jones wasn't a massive transfer.

Maguire isn't terrible though, he's Premier League quality, but definitely isn't suited for a top four team. He did a good job at Leicester, and I think would still do a good job at a similar level.

I was listening to True Geordie over the weekend and they said looking at the stats for Centre backs in the PL he comes out 38 out of 40 or something  . He was benched in the last game an I'm surprised it took this long. Not sure whether it was related to that bomb threat he got.

I didn't watch the game but sometimes 0-0 scorelines can be deceptive so look at the other stats. Could have been lots of chances and woodwork hit etc but none of them just go in. I had 1-1 on that match. I've got 0-0 for tonight's game as well. Leeds really need at least a point from this. If they don't get something I think they could be in real trouble as they've got some very tough fixtures coming up. Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea all in a row. I doubt they're getting any points from those three so could come down to their last two games against Brighton and Brentford depending on the results of the other relegation battlers.

Statistics is an accurate set of data with inaccurate conclusions

Maguire is bad in this United team - no doubt about it. But the thing is that this United team does not play like a team at all and any player would look bad there - especially a slowish defender. He is out of form and in a bad mood overall but he is a decent player - maybe not for the team that United wants to be, but he's way better than an average mid-table CB.

Nathan Phillips last year looked better in a Liverpool team than Varane does in United's. It is much more complex than 'Maguire is crap'. Or well, it isn't. United is crap

Phil Jones, ah, the one that Ferguson settled for after deciding Henderson ran funny (and how we ended up getting Hendo instead of Jones!). Funny how things eventually turn out many years down the line, with different coaches and different styles.

It definitely is much more complex than that. I do feel for him. But he could have been managed better. Klopp could have been deemed cruel when he dropped Karius after his own set of defensive atrocities but he probably prevented him from doing even worse (though he seemed to have carried that cloud over to Turkey after).

If his form dipped (which it did) and his confidence meant he could no longer captain (which it did), you take him off and sort it out first.

First of all, that bomb threat is total shit and guys which are doing that should be put to prison without right to watch TV. And that is only if there isn't actual bomb. I get it that supporters care about their club bot that is no way to show it. Those same guys were probably wanking each other at the moment united bought Maguire. 

He is shit but as cryptofrka says this United is even more shit and no defender in the world would look great there and especially slow defender who is at his best when team is defending with 10 players and he is clearing crosses all day long.

Leeds haven't lost a game in over a month. Palace are going through a rough patch, winless in the last 3 games. It's hard to predict a winner in a game involving bottom-of-the-league teams, but i think Leeds have the edge here

^I went against my gut for this one too, and even ignored the form for Leeds because I've watched Palace play more maybe and it's really hard to ignore how good they can be at direct play, as opposed to Leeds who haven't really got out of Bielsa gear, all tempo and no guile. I want to say "more intelligent" but I'm not sure that's the right word, Zaha for sure but I'm never really convinced about Ayew, who's more clever than intelligent.

Still, not enough quality on either side and we're at HT scoreless, Palace probably deserved a goal, until hot heads ruined the last 10 mins.

Palace defended well at the end. Almost half of the guys on the pool picked the draw and some got exact 3 points.

Fair enough, I know I've watched one or two 0-0 games which were exciting except for a lack of goals, I also seen 0-0 games with plenty of cards so that's a different kind of exciting but still, in English football especially you feel like if there is no goal, there is nothing to light up the game. Goals always change a game I think

Anyway spot on on another 0-0 game, I would never have thought to put that even if going for a draw!
