Well some really surprising results we have this round.

First Liverpool can not win against Bournemouth, one thing call my attetion after the game, i see Livepool odds to win was 1.4, really high thinking about Liverpool comes with a 7-0 agains Man utd and Bournemouth its a relegation team, so my question its, what thing the bookies know ?.

And today the Man Utd.... EASY match against Southampton, i know the red card change all the game so early, but still a surprise.

The red card should not be used as a justification for not winning against last place.Southampton was much more motivated to get the single point as the fight in the end of the table is vivid than ever,different teams are only being divided by little amount of points and every point is precious.I don't think Southampton will be able to not be relegated as how things are it looks difficult for them but this was one such week of the Premier League where surprises have happened in a big matter,I was afraid for a Arsenal draw and didn't think that Manchester United would not be able to win against Southampton.

In the pool at least I got a correct score for West Ham after so many weeks after not being able to do so.

When Liverpool were a goal down, I was confident that they will come back. Tried $50 on double chance and what a waste! The odd for them to qualify in CL next round should go back to 1/30 or even more. One match you humiliate one of the top team and in the next match you help a team who were waiting for relegation LOL

By the way, what was the odds for double chance? Basically it was the right choice, probably if I was online I would have made a live bet on Liverpool to win after Bournemouth took the lead. If Salah had not missed from the penalty spot, then Liverpool would have been able to put the squeeze on Bournemouth.

Too lazy to look for the bet slip but it was something 1.56 when I get it.

In general, I liked the joke about the fact that Liverpool gave points to Bournemouth in order for Everton to relegated from Premier League

If you're feeling bad about your picks, remember that ME forgot to put my 2-1 exact picks on the Newcastle-Wolves game just when I was having a good week. I spent the final minute of the game watching the game and urging Newcastle to win 2-1, only to log into Suprebru and discover that I had not entered the prediction into the pool. What a week that could have been if I had made that prediction.

How bad was the Casemero tackle? Was it any worse than yesterday's Leicester player tackle on J. Felix? VAR didn't even look at the dangerous tackle that nearly sent Felix on a six-month break. Oh VAR.

I was in the same position as you,I have totally screwed up in the Champions League,forgetting to put the picks several times and going with the defaults but even when I have put the picks there it was a disaster,first time for me playing there but I never expected to be this bad.

Back on here,when yesterday games ended I thought what a bad week I was having but in today games I just got 2 exact scores,Newcastle and West Ham and that improved my positions from 19 to 17 which is great considering that the weeks keep going way and we are through the end of the season in a couple of months,still I have never won anything in soccer pools yet (only last year in F1) so I am not expecting to end in a prize position in the end here.

Exact scores are blessings. Evan two exact scores and two or three close result can easily earn you 10 to 12 points in a round even if your card looks like red with 4 to 5 wrong results. But with 7 to 8 close results you can not expect 10 to 12 points. You card may seems very good, all green but in total score you are behind. On the pool you will see the members who have better exact scores ratio they are topping on average.

Yes, Exact scores makes the whole diference, about my fight against Mitchr, come on man, i surpass you in one game and in the game after you put an exact score and again surpass me.

But man lets make an agreement we have to view the rearmirror i see fortebet is aproaching us. Lets drop some bananas in the road (mario cart) so he can miss some games.

Quick off topic. I realised I also had def picks for UCL last round on early games, which is weird, I was sure I entered everything on time, doesn't make sense for me to skip the first half of games and enter scores for the next.

Not that I was losing a lot, but it's so tight there!

I understand the joke about Liverpool preferring to see their Merseyside rival relegated to the championship, but this isn't the kind of performance they'd rather have going into dire situation against Real Madrid, this performance isn't going to do their level of confidence any good, but maybe it could also help Real Madrid get cocky and underestimate, I however, I doubt it's going to be a case of both.

Anyways, I really still don't understand why Klopp is sticking to his obsolete 4-3-3 formation, when it's clearly evident that their midfield is lacking the level creativity it needs/deserves and is their biggest weak link, a 4-2-3-1 or 3-2-2-3 might help dominate play more in the midfield area which is the only major problem Liverpool seem to have in my sincere opinion, so many time you find Van Dijk being somewhat the defensive midfield or CM, which usually ends up getting Liverpool by just on long ball and you find Konate struggling in those 4 on 2 counterattack scenarios with Arnold being the next closest defender on the pitch.

I am not an expert in Liverpool tactical formations, but it seems to me that against bus variations it doesn’t matter how much you dominate in midfield, everything is decided by the conversion of chances and Liverpool had obvious problems with it. Opponent which ran away to counterattack will always have an advantage, as it breaks into free zones.

1.56 for the 28th minute of the game looks profitable. After all, no matter how many goals Bournemouth scored, Liverpool were expected to score at least 2.
As for the exact results, I'm not sure about 3 outcomes out of 4 games, so it's hard to discuss exact results

Oh for sure Liverpool has a chance to win.  But to get back on aggregate from a 3 - nil deficit vs Real, dunno.  They could but I think going to pens is more likely.  And a lot more fun!  But then it could be too big to ask for.  We'll see...  It's just Real Madrid as a team ain't no mental midget.  They're mentally solid and they're hard to break.

and Real finished it to pass through, but overall I do not see as impossible to see Real at 0:3 during the match with Liverpool, although not highly likely at this moment
nevertheless, BTTS is the only betting option worth exploring IMO

Nono..  I'm never closing the door on anything.  It's just we have to think about it with where the line is at, if there's value, the statistical probabilities of something happening, etc, etc...  And with Real Madrid lined at 2.38 or something and knowing that they won the last 6 out of 7 matches vs Liverpool at the UCL makes Real Madrid the spot to put money on imho.

for Southampton this leaves them near the bottom, but for Palace this loss is a one in a series, and they turned from mid-table team into relegation fighter

Well the battle is getting hotter and hotter still shocked that Everton is down badly in the league but if the points difference stays close like this it will be really intresting too see what will happen. I think Everton will survive in the end but barely. They survive every year so i think they will pull through. Southampton for me is the main favorite to get relegated.

The goal is to be in the top ten. I was two points away from winning the yellow cap, the last time I won it was GW 2 or 3, it's been a long time, shows how poorly I've been performing since the world cup break, I'm 20+ from the top, so the pool is wide open for upsets, just a few good rounds and you're up there.

Who can understand this Arsenal, being so strong in Premier, and going out in round of 16 in UEL... Lets see how much this impact on the team, i dont think they are gonna think in this so much because their main goal was allways the Premier League and also they can see the positive side of this, more rest to the players.

Yes he was doing good thinking in Crystal Palace parameters, but well seems like they have some fear of relegation? They are 12, and you might think, well they are safe, but clearly not, they are only 3 points away from the last position of relegation.

You are already competing with your luck in such pools and when you miss your picks then you are losing your chances. It happened with me on EPL pool last year. Learnt from that and wanted to be serious this year but EPL pool is becoming a frustration for me LOL
