To follow up that 1.35 btc deposit to allow a cross ship was for cross shipping of the ethernet/controller board not an entire machine just the controller.
It's not only unacceptable but also completely unjustifiable.Your now paying ransom on the product you bought from them to get anything out of it.
Let's see some support in return for all the support received from us purchasing boat loads of product.
IMHO the resale of equipment model is out the window. I wouldn't bank on any of that.
well to be fair. I could have sent the gear in and waited for it to arrive to them doing no cross shipping. then I just would lose hash time. and shipping fees.
I ended up shipping it to another seller of the gear my cost will be 30 to ship 30 to return and at least fri, sat, sun, mon, tue, wed hashing lost.
I would have been fine doing this with sushi's rma people if they never asked for 1.35 btc to cross ship the one part.
Once they asked for this I lost faith in them as I felt insulted at what I consider an attempt on their part to play me for a fool. BTW since I have posted this complaint zero contact from them on the threads on pm's and on my email. No apology no face saver email like we meant for you to send the 1.35 btc deposit for an entire machine replacement not the one part.
The real problem in BTC is this treatment from asic builders to asic buyers. Most likely it will kill off the industry.
Right now as I type the best hash for cash is still an s-1. No asic builder says I will bury antminer by being a little better deal then they are. As long as builders of mining gear continue on this path the industry will never truly take off.
Sad as there is a need for s-1's as space heaters in many parts of America homes have electric heat. I live in New Jersey and I am looking at homes in Tennessee and Virginia . I have found many homes use electrical heat S-1's would be great in these homes use the same amount of power and earn back BTC while you do it. But the opportunity will be lost due to poor service from asic builders.
I know of quite a few places with electrical heat in New Jersey I was considering do a heating setup in a few dozen but with rma service like this nope. Oh well.
