When you mine on CleverMining for a certain segment of time (e.g. 1pm-6pm), do you get paid for the profitability during that segment of time or what system does CleverMining use to calculate payouts?

I was getting hella rejects on my Gridseeds using bfgminer. Something like more than 50% I found out it was your pool. Just FYI in case you want to look into it and fix it... I may switch them back over. If others are having the same issues, it means you're missing out on all the Gridseed ASIC hash power at the moment. Not that that's a huge deal seeing as though you have a lot of hash power pointed your way already, but you're missing out on having more. There are lot of users mining with Gridseeds here without issues. Can you provide more details? What are reject reasons? Can you show some screens from your mining stats?

Yes, you are paid based on profitability of this segment during which you were mining. Profits are distributed based on hourly rounds, so all blocks found within a clock hour are shared between all accepted shares submitted within this hour. This is also the reason why stats are updated hourly, after the full hour. This will probably change within a month, as I'm going to write my own stratum server and we'll most likely switch to PPLNS then.

Terk, I know you are busy, but I ned to ask you a favor. I misconfigured 3 miners yesterday and the user name was wrong. The user should have been 1CKwmN5zrrqDLgzmwFgvr1AbqXPSDaRrXp, but for some reason, I ended up using 1CKwmN5zrrqDLgzmwFgvr1AbqXPSDaRrXp_panterasystem for several hours. Can you please correct it and add the btc to the correct account?
Thank you very much!

Anyone using Gridseed ASICs with CPUMiner on this pool? According to everything I'm reading about the Gridseed, the CPUMiner output shows it should be working, but nothing is showing up on the webpage and I've been mining for several hours now. I even created a new BTC address to track it seperately from my GPU stuff.

Open question to the clevermining community....
If a friend (you actually like) came to you saying that wanted to invest $3000 in a mining rig. What would you tell them?
Buy bitcoin, instead of a rig, and watch it explode. Prices are damn low at the moment. No doubt. If you believe in BTC, you're better off buying than mining at the moment. Since you actually like this person, then tell him not to mine. It's a tough time right now. I agree that he'd be better off buying btc.

If you don't get any "accepted: X/Y (Z%), 0.0 khash/s (yay!!!)" or "(booooo)"s at least once in 5-10 minutes (avg. ~2 min on clever), something is wrong and your miner isn't submitting shares. (Do the miner actually blink red sometimes?) Is your miner working? Blinking green? Do you have it connected via a powered USB hub? - And have sufficient 12V? And you're sure the config is 100% correct - and is the running config? Did you try it with "-D" to debug - and checked out at least the top 10-100 lines after startup? Did you try it on a different pool, or perhaps you could try bfgminer or cgminer instead of cpuminer?

I downloaded/compiled the version of cgminer that was forked specifically for these, and it seems to be working now... [P]ool management [S]ettings [D]isplay options [Q]uit GSD 0: 6D7535A44857 750 MHz | 317.7K/320.0Kh/s | A:3072 R:0 HW:0 WU:0.8/m
edit VVVV That's the same one I'm using.

This fork of cgminer has worked well for me. It doesn't allow you to set different frequencies for each gridseed though.

Recently I got such msg on cgminer:
pool 4 JSON stratum auth failed: (null)
Is this something I should worry about?

They dumped all of that ~200 BTC unexchanged balance they have been carrying for so long.

Why so low Profitability the last days? Time to add some new coins to the pool maybe?
I'm making more BTC mining DOGE directly now.

I have also noticed that. Maybe we can have a comment from pool dev's about this?

Partial results are pretty useless. Poolpicker reports CleverMining as second most profitable pool for the last 24 h, difference between first pool being very small.
