BFL consistenly and systematically fucked customers over last year, denying them refunds although they were required BY LAW to give them, as they didn´t ship their product near advertised time or on spec (efficiency!).

False. There was no law requiring us to give refunds. Please cite caselaw to support your position (you can't, since it doesn't exist. Please consult a lawyer before addressing this issue going forward. As for the advertised spec, people were offered refunds and were in fact REQUIRED to accept the new specs or they would be given a refund if they did not respond in a certain amount of time.  How much more proactive and ethical can it get in that regard?

Bad business ethics includes all the mentioned problems, aswell as the systematic preying on newbies through false advertising.

What false advertising would that be?

It seems that unlike you, the FTC has a perfectly working understanding of the described problems  Tongue

Then again, this is only my internet law degree speaking, so maybe it is all a huge misunderstanding with the FTC Cool

When its sensible. I don't like updating for one company otherwise everyone would demand immediate updates as soon as anything happens. The guide isn't designed to be that responsible.

And let me guess when you will update you will ignore the past events and you will score companies based on what's going on when you do the update right?

I'm not sure what you're problem is. Is it because ST's rating went down and now you can't spam the affiliate link everywhere in every thread?

Shouldn't you be working on a resume or something?  On the other hand, given your reputation and the incredibly rich Google paper trail you've left behind, you're likely unemployable at this point.

No on was arrested. This is a civil case, not criminal. It may evolve into a criminal case however.

Hey Doggie...what should the rating be on a company that has been taken over by the FTC in receivership or whatever it is called
and now is being investigated by IRS?..and of course likely the obligatory mail fraud.....wire money fraud etc etc to come?

me thinks the BFL score should be a going way way down

or course Josh will then get on and say you are 'unfair' but that goes w/o saying actually

(BFL first neg rating in doggies thread) heh Smiley

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

I'll just leave it for now, again I can't just set companies as 1! When hashfast went bankrupt they were frozen, as is vmc so only fair to do the same for now.

well it was a unique situation (or I hope so ..) so had to ask......

well life could be worse we could be investors in BFL from back in the day .....not looking too good now

15. Tape out August 2013

True.

I just wanted to share this with you all, from the FTC's Attachment X:

It's a shame their ethics rating can't drop any lower.

To be fair you're quoting something back in time which doesn't really make sense. What you should be quoting is the resultant shipping dates he came up with after that November conversation.
