So I'm trying to run the scrypt multipool on MPH again, and still can't figure out how to set the initial difficulty lower. My batch file is as follows:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:17001 -u user.1 -p d=640 --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=888,chips=5 --hotplug 30 --gridseed-override "48E981603731:freq=838,chips=40;48EF6F4B3734:freq=838,chips=40"
The initial difficulty comes up at 8.19k and basically I don't submit any shares from my 5chip Gridseeds. 640 difficulty on other pools seems to work okay as a baseline.

Now you can set starting difficulty value by typing like "d=0.01" at worker's password.
This would help big hash miners to catch up to its own hardware limit faster than ever.
1. Run your miner program and check your difficulty value. Keep in mind that difficulty value must be stabilized. We recommend you to get difficulty value at least after 10 minutes of mining.
2. Set this difficulty value to worker's password as "d=XXXX" ex) d=0.0312 Do not write this value to miningpoolhub's worker page, just write it at miner configuration file.
3. Now run your miner program again. You will see your miner running at the difficulty value you typed.
4. Difficulty value can go up and down again. It's not a bug. d=XXX just gives us hint at start and it doesn't enforce diff value to be fixed.
Far wrong diff value may corrected automatically, but you'd better write optimized value.
Big hash miners who are using rentals, multi-algo, ASIC would get better result with difficulty hint.
How do we do this in Awesome miner? Workers password is for all algos, and different algos have different difficulties.

Hoping someone can help provide some assistance! Got 6 x GTX 1060 6GB running and I've just been trying to set up MiningPool, however in the benchmark for Excavator (v1.3.8a) it keeps crashing with the nvidia cuda error out of memory at line 1377. I've tried changing the virtual memory allocation but this doesn't seem to have helped (tried 20gb,24gb,32gb,40gb) Any help would be appreciated as I'm running out of ideas! Thanks in advance

Are you using the MultiPoolMiner? If so, go into your MultiPoolMiner folder, into Miners, and delete any that say Excavator. Should be .txt or .ps1 files. I deleted it out and just used the other miners, I couldn't get it to work for me neither.

Yup using MultiPoolMiner. I think I gotta get CCMiner working again because if i get rid of Excavator I've lost quite some exposure to mining crypto's which are highly profitable for me it seems. CCMiner was unable to install due to the benchmark program not being able to download it from github, do I need to manually download and place in the Miner folder? How do I get the MultiPoolMiner to benchmark this again without running the reset benchmark script? Thanks

Is Zcoin Down right now on miningpoolhub right now?
I'm not getting a pool hash rate on miner hash rate. I am getting a Net hash rate.

Well the global hashrate seems to be holding steady as of 13 minutes ago, so hopefully just a site issue and we're still mining away. I hate to go to bed without switching coins if I'm mining nothing though.
**Edit**
Transactions page show I was just paid (unconfirmed) a couple minutes ago, so I assume it's working but just isn't showing on the site atm

What port is multi-algo mining on for AMD. 12020 won't connect. 17020 only switches Ethhash

I'm trying this diff setting to ETN pool, but it's not working. My custom diff is 5000 (-p d=5000).

Hello,
Guys, I've been using Miningpool for a while, along with aaronsace's miner.
How does it fare vs. the relaunched nicehash?
Do you lose a lot of value on auto-convert? What is a good coin to convert to? I currently auto-convert to ETH.
Also, i've noticed that my miner relaunches every couple mins (I can see that on small dips in temperature on Afterburner - cyclic - ever couple mins there's a dip from 65 degrees to 63 degrees lasting couple seconds). Is this normal?
