will mintpal delete zeitcoin? like CR?

If they're as dishonest and careless, yes!

They appear to be a really good exchange though from what I've seen, in not very long, so I don't see any reason why they would.

CR only dropped it to sweep their own mistakes under the rug, at least, that's how it appears to many of us here.
Thank u for answer. zeitcoin fell down again to 0.00000001 that's why i asked.

MintPal does in principle not care about the price, but the volume is important (As they receive tx fees). A volume of 21.384 BTC is more then enough. A lot of coins have 10 btc or less volume.

Just a hint. The amount of ZEIT lost in CR is most likely more than what any developer has or what was ever premined. So i would NOT call for the devs all the time. You wouldnt ask the federal reserve for help if you got robbed either. They at least could make up the money for you. With crypto this is not possible.

If anything you should go for the exchange. Get some more people that lost money. Gather all your transactions and proof you have. And then try to use a public voice like the coindesk to put pressure on that lazy exchange. Thats what i would aim for. Emails are easily ignored. I feel sorry and its some real bad publicity for the coin. But in any case. For now you probably should think of most of the coins as gone for good. Probably there will be some refund from the collective pool that was initiated by ZEITCOIN (a few pages back).

The developers and this community are a good start but nobody here offers any ZEITCOIN insurance.

My coins gone for good = me coming here everyday 10x a day and letting everyone know what happened. (trust me I got the time)

That is why i think it is great that there is an ignore feature on this site Smiley

1) I don't think I would have been as civilised about it as you were.
3) Aren't we all glad we made such a push to get onto MintPal on Friday now?

I've been in their shoes before and I know that if people start off being dicks to me, I'm far less likely to help them, as was so well demonstrated recently by bigc and ZEITCOIN. If you're patient and polite, I find you get a far better response. They're people too who have bad days and probably don't really want to be doing what they are. However, I did lose my patience far quicker than I liked, unfortunately, I get frustrated very easily and get all bulshy Sad

Very... I was unable to trade Zeit at all as the other exchanges were teeny and I wouldn't touch CoinEx (I almost gave in a couple of times as the price was so damn low).

MintPal does in principle not care about the price, but the volume is important (As they receive tx fees). A volume of 21.384 BTC is more then enough. A lot of coins have 10 btc or less volume.

That's a very good point that completely slipped my mind Smiley

They didn't drop it because of the price. I hope that IF all the 1 sat buy orders are eaten up, MintPal will add the coin as a LTC pair as well to us through the cheap phase until we get enough halvings done and enough buzz kicked up to the price to stabilize above 1 sat again.
At least, that's what usually happens to currencies that have this many coins in circulation before the awareness increases sufficiently. MOON had it recently on Cryptsy, was dropped to a LTC trade pair due to zero BTC buy orders.
yeah right.i didn't think about it))

On a different topic.

I was just fascinated while listening to Andreas M. Antonopoulos
speaking at the L.A. Bitcoin Meetup - January 9, 2014
on how he found out about btc and what could be possible
with the technology. He is a really good speaker and very motivating. Smiley

I'd like to bump this.

A very enjoyable and educational watch (still not finished, keep pausing to do other stuff, 14 minutes left for me.

Talking about the corruption of power through centralisation and hierarchical systems, how bitcoin will evolve by cherry picking innovations from alt-coins (hadn't thought of it before), highlights the differences between bitcoin the 'protocol' and bitcoin the 'currency' (this is a very important aspect that's often missed by folks), all in a very enjoyable video with humour and humility.

To answer your question, my assessment is sometime after the PoW period of this coin is over and we become 100% POS mined coin. Then there will be no one dumping coins on the market from mining anymore, aside from people who dont want zeit anymore.

That, with significant good news to make the whales remove their sell walls and start buying up for the initial pump. Tongue

LoL, there's actually someone on the CoinEx thread saying how people should have learned from the Gox collapse not to leave coins on CoinEx as he's now lost all his coins.

Well, DUH!!!

How many times do people have to lose their coins before learning that an exchange is NOT a secure wallet where you can get big rewards without high risk?!!?

PLEASE REMEMBER, Exchanges are big targets for hackers as they hold a large percentage of their coins in hot wallets unlike wallets where far more can be in cold storage.
Only leave on an exchange what you're looking to trade, withdraw and deposit for the big price fluctuations. Day trading won't make you super rich, it's not worth losing everything for!

The biggest threat for coins on an exchange is the owner of that exchange  , not hackers.
