Very odd thing you got going there. Something must be blocking it. Try a whole new thing, move wallet.dat to safe place and remove everything.
Then unzip this https://www.dropbox.com/s/gx3t29k7upuqcn9/Einsteinium.rar?dl=0 newly synced folder (without wallet.dat) and place it in Appdata>Roaming and run the wallet.
It doesn't have .conf file, but I never needed it. Maybe add .conf if it doesn't work and once it syncs copy your own wallet.dat replacing the newly created one.

If that doesn't work .. I really don't know.

Well that was an eventful start to the project funding.

Lets see what the weekend has in store for us, shall we?  Grin

Of course I missed most of the Poloniex trollbox chat as had a busy day at work, but it was pulsating at 6pm.

Recommendations to the Board with http://www.btc38.com/ communicate, BTC38 is the largest exchange, if EMC2 can shelves BTC38, then it will be a huge success

Thanks for your message afeizhai, as you may remember, a couple months ago we conducted a giveaway at the site.  In fact, Oldminer and Djnocide contribute lots of time and energy in the preparation of that promotion because we believe as you indicate that BTC38, and the Chinese crypto market in general, would be very good for EMC2.  However, the promotion was ineffective.  The campaign needed someone to communicate with the site members in words, and terms they understand, the campaign needed you.

The board agrees with you -- EMC2 should be on BTC38.com, and we know we need a point person for the endeavor, you need to let me know when you are ready to take the lead on that project.   I'll do all I can to provide various levels of support, but this time we need to experience success.

With your help we could get EMC2 on BTC38.com.

btw, that's a great signature

I would like to donate 0.1 BTC, 5 LTC, 100k Doge, 1000 Cinni, 10 CLAMS, 2million ZEIT, 50k THC, 10 XBC and 250 Block to the campaign.

Once we get started, will be listing various coin addresses to send funds to for the campaign.

How many Einsteinium are there, and how many could exist eventually (the cap)?

It says 300 million in the OP but I don't know which figure that is.

EDIT: OK, seems from the block explorer that 157219147.36476931 presently exist  Cheesy

Looking for a US or Canadian mining pool. Most pools listed on the OP are dead and the two that work are in Europe and Asia. Anybody have a working pool a little closer to US East Coast?

Looking for a US or Canadian mining pool. Most pools listed on the OP are dead and the two that work are in Europe and Asia. Anybody have a working pool a little closer to US East Coast?

http://p2pool.thepeeps.net:41876/static/ is apparently located N/East US.

If you like my post please feel free to give me some positive rep https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=18639

Shocked Wow, that's fantastic ... as I was reading that I actually thought you were going to end with "... and a partridge in a pear tree"  Grin

suprnova is usually very good wherever you are.

But OP should be updated with working pools.

I enjoy supernova as well. I haven not had any issues and I have been mining with them for well over a month and a half.

Reminder:

The domain name http://einsteinium.org/ is not owned or controlled by The Einsteinium Foundation, or EMC2 - the coin, it is privately owned.

EMC2 mgmt has reached out to the owners of http://einsteinium.org/ to ask them to donate the site and domain to the Einsteinium Foundation, or to allow
us to manage it however they have not responded to any of our numerous inquires over the past 3 months.

On or about Sept. 25th we moved to secured another domain name: EMC2foundation.org, this domain name is owned by the Einsteinium Foundation
it will be treated as the official website domain for the Einsteinium Foundation until such time that we secure einsteinium.org.  With the official website
owned and controlled by the EMC2 community we hope to be more effective.

This is a community endeavor, if you have the skills to develop a website I invite you to volunteer some hours to design or create a site page or two.

Thanks

But we have to remember to spread the hashes through all the pools available.

Pools list updated. If you have a pool and want it added to the OP, let us know.
