If you want to see this matter handled correctly join the Development Committee at The EMC2 Foundation (not to be confused with The Einsteinium Foundation, I don't know the protocols there).

In a committee you can poll the community; research the merits and draw backs of both sides then present the findings, conclusions, and recommendations to the board for a vote.  

The EMC2 Foundation was created by EMC2 owners to address issues of major concern to the EMC2 investor community.  Some of our actions are already improving things, stay tuned for our first EMC2 Board Report.

The concerns are from the community which your group should be listening to. They are aware that emc2 is Einsteinium and the Einsteinium foundation is often referred to as 'the emc2 foundation'. That is where the confusion exists. I have no control over what your group calls itself, it's simply a concern from supporters that I'm making clear here on this forum. The EMC2 Foundation has a rather simple protocol for ALL issues of concern to the EMC2 community; the issue comes to the attention to an officer, board member, or relevant committee member, then depending on the issue it will be addressed appropriately.   As a board member of The EMC2 Foundation I have acknowledged your concern, and have invited you to consider chairing a committee to examine the merits of your concern so that it could be properly presented to the whole board for a fair hearing and a prompt vote.   

Your concern was acknowledged on three separate occasions, you have before you a formula to finally resolve the matter.

As for "taxes" that is referring to the 2% fee imposed upon EMC2 miners to fund EMC2 projects.
As for "spending" that encompasses all of your presumptive duties relevant to the disbursement of funds collected via taxes and donations, specifically disbursements for  project awards and bounties.

The EMC2 Foundation has a rather simple protocol for ALL issues of concern to the EMC2 community; the issue comes to the attention to an officer, board member, or relevant committee member, then depending on the issue it will be addressed appropriately.   As a board member of The EMC2 Foundation I have acknowledged your concern, and have invited you to consider chairing a committee to examine the merits of your concern so that it could be properly presented to the whole board for a fair hearing and a prompt vote.   

Your concern was acknowledged on three separate occasions, you have before you a formula to finally resolve the matter.

As for "taxes" that is referring to the 2% fee imposed upon EMC2 miners to fund EMC2 projects.
As for "spending" that encompasses all of your presumptive duties relevant to the disbursement of funds collected via taxes and donations, specifically disbursements for  project awards and bounties.

Armis, I still feel the name of the committee should change the name to be a bit less confusing for our supporters. That is primarily because "EMC2" IS Einsteinium and there is already the "Einsteinium Foundation". If you would like some suggestions on a new name for the community effort I could help out.

I agree.. they usually call that kind of group an Advisory board or something similar.

most governments around the world have Executive and Legislative branches.
most large companies have something similar, a Board of directors a Shareholder advocacy/activist group.

it seems like that is what we are aiming for here so lets make the naming clear and easy for people to understand.

As I mentioned to you in a private message, I do not have the power to appoint people to the board, that only comes by election of the community as a whole.

First off, my official mandated duty is oversee all things EMC2. As of right now, the value of EMC2 is too low to cash out on the markets and spend "money". I am however willing to offer bounties for new objectives which I though it what your board was supposed to be voting on. Where is your meeting place to become "elected"? Where do your discussions and voting take place? Also, being lead of the foundation and coin, I will mandate myself for official duties. What promises were made? Thanks Armis.
