Cryptocurrency to be Taught in Schools?

I do not doubt that both blockchain and cryptocurrencies connected to it will be taught in school in the near future. It will take a few years and perhaps a bit of regulation to get it going. Webdesign or internet marketing for that matter was not taught at schools in the early days, but now it takes up most of all digital/marketing studies....I think it will be the same with blockchain/crypto...at some point it will be quite important in technical studies and financial studies.

I'm pretty sure that many of you have been experiencing difficulty on making other people aware of cryptocurrency and how it works, right? I myself find it hard to explain it even to my own family. Once you mention it to them, the first thing that comes to their mind is that it's a scam. Can't blame them though because the news about crypto scams are always hyped in social media and believe me, even my 70 year old mom has Facebook!

Anyway, I realized that this is the case because there has never really been any formal education about it at all. We knew about it only thru word of the mouth right and we only got to learn it slowly thru experience. This said, I'm thinking, what if it's taught in schools? Perhaps just start with those taking Accountancy or Banking and Finance courses to begin with, then eventually incorporate it to Mathematics subject or whatever in High School? After all, they were able to do that with banking, right? Why not with cryptocurrency? What do you think?

As far as I know, universities in several countries around the world have opened blockchain courses. Since it is a blockchain, I think BTC will definitely be mentioned in this process. it is necessary. This is very useful for promoting bitcoin and science. it is not strange if crypto currencies are taught in schools, but only in every skill program such as IT or technology related expertise programs at school. it is impossible not, if a student who has the skills of breeders is taught about crypto currency, it must be more in tune again if what is taught is students who have IT skills.

Sounds good but I think it will only work as an elective, pretty sure that students won't be interested in it no matter how good it is, no matter how much proof and evidence you show them that cryptocurrency is beyond promising, they won't care at all, sure there might be some exception who will try it out but it not worth the effort. cryptocurrencies are not the one that to be taught in schools. but the blockchain technology is. there are already some programs about teaching about blockchain. and after people adapt it more, i also think that they will teach out children about blockchain.
