If crypto does appear in the school's tutorial, then crypto must have evolved to the stage of replacing cash. But I think we hope to see this day may take ten years or even longer.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I think that it would be very useful. I think, it is not necessary to learn in detail the cryptocurrency, and here you need to know the basics - it is obligatory.

You touched on a very interesting question. From my point of view, the school should teach subjects about financial literacy. A person should be able not only to earn money but also wisely disposes of them. Of course, it will not be superfluous in schools to talk about such a financial instrument as Bitcoin.

The topic is very strange. First you need to decide whether to teach in the main program or as an elective. If we are talking about the basic school curriculum, then this is a completely unnecessary thing. The school should give basic skills for further education and self-development. She must instill the ability to use her brain to solve set tasks. And the knowledge of the crypto currency in these tasks is not exactly included.
This is the maximum idea for an elective, not more. Undecided

I don't think Cryptocurrency should be taught in schools, similar to how money doesn't get taught in schools. Sure it can be a specialized Syllabus if you're into it, but it shouldn't be part of the general programme. However, blockchain technology should definitely be part of any I.T course, as it's going to be a big tech in the future, people need to know about it early.

I fully agree that progress does not stand still and it is necessary to train the future generation to use cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies, as in the future it will be widely used in many areas ranging from banks to health care ! In my country there is a University that teaches students in this direction it is located in the city of Minsk ( Republic of Belarus) Training is 2 years and issued a diploma of higher education.

trading, trading on stock exchanges and studying the behavior of the market, as well as crypto-currencies are quite narrowly focused science, not exactly for the school.
There are already a lot of courses on the Internet for studying crypto-currencies at different levels. and they will become more and more.
I think that colleges and universities are already considering crypto-currencies for a bit, accurately separate them as a financial and technological system

Hi guys!
I'm pretty sure that many of you have been experiencing difficulty on making other people aware of cryptocurrency and how it works, right? I myself find it hard to explain it even to my own family. Once you mention it to them, the first thing that comes to their mind is that it's a scam. Can't blame them though because the news about crypto scams are always hyped in social media and believe me, even my 70 year old mom has Facebook!

Anyway, I realized that this is the case because there has never really been any formal education about it at all. We knew about it only thru word of the mouth right and we only got to learn it slowly thru experience. This said, I'm thinking, what if it's taught in schools? Perhaps just start with those taking Accountancy or Banking and Finance courses to begin with, then eventually incorporate it to Mathematics subject or whatever in High School? After all, they were able to do that with banking, right? Why not with cryptocurrency? What do you think?
This would be great for both the cryptocurrency market and the general public. The cryptocurrency market is quite tough and complex to understand. I have seen many people having a hard time understanding it. So I think if cryptocurrency will be taught in schools, this will definitely help our coming generations to understand it completely and use it to its full potential.

Crypto and blockchain can be teach in some economics or in some currency related subjects, but it should be thought by a experienced crypto trader or expert to fully explained the positive and possible negative of using it.

Would be better if they start from high school. At least they should be given knowledge about the basic of the blockchain technology. How it works and how crypto currencies take advantage of it. The in depth study can be done during higher studies. At least the people of future generation will get to know something about it and might get interested which will help to increase adoption.

Teaching Crypto in schools is good thinking, it could happen in future, but now it is decentralized market & not legit by the government, so better not to think about this. Cryptocurrency is a virtual currency & lot of risk factors involve in it. Who wants to know about crypto have to dive in this market, only then he will have practically experience about it, rest of will think it is just a scam market.

To learn at school, the crypto currency is first legalized. Now children can only learn from their parents a little crypt from childhood learns to be traders and miners. When such children grow up, they will be good helpers to their parents.

Actually it will be a nice idea, if not a course it could even be a topic on digital currency with some insight to enlighten students. This will make the student know what the crypto world hold for them. This will create much of the awareness at a tender age.

In Vietnam, electronic money will never be taught in schools. If you want to participate in the field of electronic money then study and learn. I know this area is thanks to my nephew. It has made a lot of money by investing in electronic money.

Yes the time will come in future because the digital currency is booming. A lot of people already use this currency. Hopefully in future it will the main transaction system. So the basic learning should start from school.
this is too heavy, there is no regulation from the government regarding crypto legality as a means of payment. I think it's impossible because the material in the school is managed and managed by the government.
if only an introduction and not a main discussion. school is a suitable place for discussion.

This is actually true and you have a point. But if the government understands the potentials of cryptocurrency, then I think they would accept it as a course in schools, by so doing, so many  crypto professionals will be made and the market regulations will be fair and not monopolistic.

I think this is a good idea. It helps them understand electronic money sooner. The money market will be expanded. I hope to have more students involved in electronic money in the future.

Maybe not now, but later in the near future i guess. When peoples know about cryptocurrency, it will create massive adoption and that will be good.
And if that happening, i am sure that the cryptocurrency value will be far better than currently.
