Just keep suggesting to mintpal at twitter that they should look in to Octocoin, ive done it twice so far and I dont even have alot of Octocoins. I just want to see where this goes. I'm still learning day trading, I think its very hard to know witch direction its going. Yes it will be awesome on mintpal. So far i'm doing pretty well on cryptorush.in. There's a lot of deep ideas on trading but as a basic, if you notice a trend of a spread on a coin just attempt to follow that trend. If you see the 24 hour high and lows you can use those as a guide to sell close to the 24 hour high and buy back in around the 24 hour low. That does require some daily movement. Some coins you may need to check only the last few hours if there's a constant fluctuation. On coins where the movement is slow you can still do the same but you should see what the weekly high and lows are. As for Octo there's a pretty good little spread and you can see where the high has been the last two days and what the low has been. There's not a ton of fluctuation but its moving enough you can make some decent coinage on some trades. The risk is you sell and it moves up pretty high. It makes you want to buy back in at a loss. Sometimes patience is the key. I trade such a low amount that if the price jumps up and isn't coming back down to that amount to buy back in it's no big deal. Good luck and the best way to learn trading is to just get in there and do it. Thx, for the tips Im trading fluttercoin right now, but Ive been mining octocoin since it came out. Gonna stard trading octo as soon as it hits mintpal. I dont trust cryptorush with one cent.

"Paul the Octopus (hatched in 2008, died October 2010) was a common octopus living in a tank at a Sea Life Centre in Oberhausen, Germany, who was used as an animal oracle to predict the results of football matches, usually international matches in which Germany was playing. He came to worldwide attention with his accurate predictions in the 2010 World Cup."
Wish Paul was with us here to day, to predict the future!

My pool just had some sort of hiccup with the blockupdate cron, Not sure why it failed but apparently had trouble fetching a new block from the daemon. I'll be keeping an eye on it for a couple of hours and tweaking some settings. Not sure if any miners noticed anything or not, but I did verify that nobody's payouts disappeared and we're still chewing up blocks, so hopefully this was just a fluke. It might have something to do with the fact that various pool components are located on different physical machines. This is by far the most critical pool I have running so I have it set up this way to avoid overload situations. My dream is to have a giant loud server rack sitting right next to me as I hack away.. One day.
I sent some octocoins to the exchange, a few days passed and they did not come, can you help? txid 954ce0720398e50bfede9b0319f35810dae7121efd47d83db3f04541a65cbdf9 thank you Did you send it from my pool to the exchange? If so what's your username, what date and time did you make the transfer? I tried running the TXID but it shows as invalid. I ran my validation script and I'm not showing anything missing, but I will dig deeper if this transaction was supposed to have come from my pool!

I've been tweaking the security measures across all my sites, I'm pretty sure everything's set up where nobody should notice anything, but please let me know right away if you're getting any 403 Forbidden errors or any other problems arise.
I accidentally blacklisted myself from one of my sites earlier, big oops. Hopefully nobody is experiencing any issues.

I mean luckily it's still a low amount. but who knows how deep the other coin's guys pockets are... i really don't know if all the services are needed but the paper wallets there looked nice and it doesn't hurt to have your coins listed there with all the others for the sake of some eyeballs seeing the coin.

My pool has really died off again, back to around 14MH.. We were back up to 80-ish the last couple of days. Short attention spans around here. I don't think that serves people very well though. I think 888 may have a good long-term viability if people would just stay put for awhile, don't jump ship or dump off. Then again, I'm a techie, not a stock broker. The fee at my pool is 0.5% for the time being, set it back there the other day and I'll leave it for a while. The 25% giveaway is tomorrow, there's not much to give this time around, but we'll do it anyway! If anyone wants to throw in or buy me a birthday present, please let me know! The addresses in my sig are up to date!
