Yes your right, but sometimes they use KYC because some countries regulate crypto and restrict their citizen by using it and it is very easy to use but it takes a long time to verify, but sometimes they use it to cheat their bounty hunters by asking for their kyc and even though you use all of your identification cards it will not be verified because they will use it to lessen their bounty hunters so the rewards will be lower.

To my understanding, KYC simply means "Know your customer". Investors(customers) who participate in ICO are made to go through KYC process before they are even allowed to purchase their tokens. On the other hand, Bounty hunters are just "part time workers" of the project and not customers. Even if they will be made to go through a KYC process, it should be before they start working and not after. Waiting for them to finish working for the project and refusing to pay them because they failed to pass KYC afterwards is a total cheat.
yeah the Know your customer.
doesnt need to go with the bounty hunters, were simply promoter of the project
and i think we shouldnt do that thing, im really against it.
and in a way theyre avoinding paying rather.

If you want to be a bounty hunter then you must be ready to pass through KYC process too because most of the projects were asking KYC nowadays or you just skip those kind of projects from your participation since the bounty rules need to be followed to get rewarded so don't blame anyone if you can't do that.

in the meantime many bounties already say whether kyc is necessary or not. to announce it afterward, nevertheless, seems unfair to me. but unfortunately every project has the right to demand kyc, also afterwards.
Are you convinced that they have such a right? Can you name the document on the basis of which they are required to undergo a KYC check on bounty hunters? They have no such right. This is an artificial right. Let them ask for verification from their clients, that is, those who pay them money. ICO generosity campaigners are not ICO clients and therefore should not undergo any checks. Especially after they perform the conditional work. This is pure deception by the ICO team.

Most ICO managers do not give bounty hunters the necessary respect. Because they want to find ways to cheap the participants, they add at the end of the bounty rules that, their decision is final, so participants have nothing to say about any new rule that will go against them. Its high time bounty hunters get some respect

maybe no longer for now, because now many are required to use passports and proof of residence, and I think that's one of the most complicated difficulties
I have participated to a bounty campaign that requires KYC but they announced it after the token sale, the form got opened, announced that they will be going to distribute the tokens right after the KYC verification but the insane part is that they never distributed the tokens and it is 1 year ago the team are not responding either luckily I did not submit KYC documents as it the project turns out to be scam lesson, evaluate the project carefully before engaging to their campaign.

Agreed with you about that especially for the social campaign. But it must be reported by the BMs when they start the campaign. so new justice for all

Before you try to join in the bounty and then do you have read all of the conditions that has been mentioned by the bounty manager if they can apply a new rules. if you have joined in that bounty and that means you have agreed with all of the terms and condition and that's it.

somehow this KYC notified beginning or end as long as no harm or troublesome I think is not a problem. Thus the existence of a system like this would be quite a KYC helps to select the bounty hunter who's cheating by having multiple accounts. This will make the distribution to be fair the bounty.

I think it is high time bounty managers get their information from the team at the beginning of the bounty campaign than changing rules concerning bounty at the end if the campaign. For instance, I might not be willing to disclose my personal information in a bounty. I will be forced to release such information as long as I have worked for the bounty and they are requesting for kyc at the end of the campaign.

kcy has good and bad sides. on the one hand it is good to find bounty cheater, on the other hand you have to give your personal data to a foreign person. that is why i am in favor of announcing every bounty, whether kyc is required or not. only this behavior is fair and everything else is unfair.

If the main purpose is to identify cheaters, then they could still do it at the beginning and not wait for the bounty hunters to finish working before denying them of their coins. Doing it at the end of the campaign is simply not the best

I think that the bounty campaigns are trying to do kyc in order to catch the cheaters in the bounties but then you have to understand that this is sensitive information that people are giving out all in the name of bounty hunting and if they are not careful those information might just end up in the hands of hackers and believe me when I tell you that identity theft is not something to be trifled with.

On the one hand, I agree with you, because it is not fair to make the KYC at the end of the bounty program, because your words make much more sense. But on the other hand the KYC process at the end of bounty helps to identify the hunters that were using multi accounts and were trying to cheat the manager.

I agree with you that bounty hunters should not pass this verification because they are not contractors.

I also agree that KYC should be announced at the very beginning of the bounty campaign, otherwise it is really not fair to the participants. I have a neutral attitude towards this procedure, because I understand that some projects follow certain legal norms.

It is true that bounty requests for KYC ar a touch of a problem and it causes few individuals to participate in campaigns of such bounty. However, it's conjointly acknowledged that the organizers recognize that their participants don't cheat with multiple accounts

Not in all cases. Of course, KYC can be used by scam projects to cheat bounty hunters but also KYC is used to remove cheaters among bounty members, who use multiaccounts for example

And this method works so good because KYC won't be done if you are a scammer. I like this trend because it decreases the amount of scam in common.

I completely agree with you. And I think there have been a lot of scams lately that can use our data for illegal activities. And the fact that the KYC should take place at the beginning of the ICO is a very correct statement. Left to implement.
