Other improvements are also being worked on with the goal of increasing the speed of play.
Here's how to do that: 1. Stop auto-invoking the player's time bank clock when they are away-from-keyboard or just not paying attention. Only an actual disconnect or a player request should trigger the time bank. 2. When a player times out on a check, put them into immediate auto check/fold mode so that subsequent actions to them in that hand don't require a full clock countdown. 3. Replace the "Auto Blinds" box with a "Fold to any bet" box. There's a already "Wait for BB" and "Sitout next BB" boxes, there's no need for the whole table to wait for some noob to decide if he wants to post his mandatory blind. 4. Require players to click a Ready button at the start of a tournament so we don't have a 5-minute first hand waiting for all the no-shows to time out their turns.

Waiting for like 30 seconds (or even more) only to see that someone is "Sitting Out" in the end is annoying. On some poker sites it can be 90 seconds, and after playing on such a site for some time, you choose not to go there again. SwCPoker isn't that bad in this regard, btw, but it would be great if the speed of play were even faster than it is now.

Our goal is to give players from all over the world a place to have fun playing low rake bitcoin poker. Although chat remains uncensored & we allow players the freedom to share differing opinions, chat is a privilege that can be revoked by management if it becomes an issue. We've learned that there is a small but loud group abusing this freedom. As we review chat logs and gain more info further actions will be taken. We are open to suggestions from the community and want to work together to create the most player-friendly poker site in the world. https://twitter.com/SwCPoker/status/1215863987654594561

Many of us sit behind our computers all day long barely going outside at all. If we were only watching censored TV and YouTube, censored shows on Netflix and reading politically correct messages on social media platforms, how the hell we'd know what people really are? How could we prepare ourselves for the real world? I'm not saying that racist jokes are okay, or anything, but let's leave it on the conscience of those who say them. If we don't like them we can ignore them, or, maybe, user should have an option to mute this or that player for him/her personally. But there are so little uncensored places left that I would prefer at least to have poker chat the way it is.

Regarding SwC Poker's lobby chat, players can choose to ignore users by right clicking on their username.
I'd support a slightly filtered chat, but on the other hand, I think what makes SwC unique is it's "wild west" approach online poker.
Things I believe should be filtered:
Yes - Racial slurs, Links, Foreign languages, 4+ messages sent in under ~30 seconds
No - Cursing

But there are so little uncensored places left that I would prefer at least to have poker chat the way it is. We love your attitude throughout this thread and thank you for being a part of SwC. Chat will remain uncensored. We welcome players from all over the world and allow them the freedom to express a wide variety of opinions. There is no poker site that gives players this much freedom. If a user doesn't wish to engage or see chat from certain players they are encouraged to right click on that player and ignore them. However, chat has always been a privilege and if user abuses this freedom and their chat becomes disruptive it is subject to being revoked. This also applies to spamming or flooding chat, posting explicit hyperlinks, posting referral codes and advertisements for other sites, making threats, doxxing other users, etc. These rules are not new and although we choose to give a lot of leeway, action will be taken when necessary. Repeated violations will result in a permanent loss of chat.

We just hit the Bad Beat Jackpot! First time I ever won part of a jackpot like this, very exciting honestly! Table got ~32k, winner of the hand got 0.2 BTC, loser of the hand got 0.375 BTC (rough estimates). I have to say, this promotion was a stroke of genius from SWC (the no extra rake part), whoever came up with that should get a pat on the back. Also good job on reeling the chat in atleast somewhat. SWC is fun lately.

Please forgive my ignorance/lack of knowledge, but these chip totals only add up to a little over 750,000 chips. How does that equate to a BBJ of over 1 BTC?

Thank you SkyReVo. Visit that link for full BBJ details. In short, when hit the jackpot pays out as follows: - 35% to the loser of the hand
- 20% to the winner of the hand
- 15% shared between all other players dealt into the hand
- 10% house fee
The remainder is used to seed the next jackpot.
