1,471,438 BAD BEAT JACKPOT HIT!

The Bad Beat Jackpot was hit on SwC for over 1.471 BTC! Congratulations to the winners!

dkpoker lost the hand with Aces Full of Kings but won 515,003 chips (0.515 BTC) from the jackpot!

ty4chips won the pot with Quad Kings and collected 294,287 chips from the jackpot.

The other seven players dealt into the hand all won a table share of 31,530 chips each.

WINNERS:

dkpoker 515,003
ty4chips 294,287
moondoor 31,530
ClosedMyEyes 31,530
Obaming 31,530
Bonez98 31,530
asfbhero 31,530
pkoike 31,530
themayorpete 31,530

Jackpot has been reseeded and is now over 343,800!

https://swcpoker.eu/post/bad-beat-jackpot-starting-at-100k

However when I left the table a couple hands later my account was not credited with that extra 140.

If I had to guess, it appears the auto-rebuy topped me off to the 200 max right before the split pot was awarded. So those 140 chips came out of my account onto my stack (and returned when I left). But that should not have happened.

You are correct. Thank you for the report. The team is working on it.

This issue has been fixed.

There was a brief outage earlier today that affected some tables. The team has identified the problem and is in the process of crediting chips to those players. Systems are fine now and we do not believe you will experience any issues joining a game.

Yesterday,March 15, 2020 I was playing 5 card omaha hilo. The table stated disconnected while playing and kicked everyone from the table without returning the chips we had back into our accounts. Its now been over 24 hours later and our chips still have not been returned and no new updates from SWC Poker management on what happened and when we will be reimbursed our chips.

This is a known issue that affected a few players. It will be fixed soon and chips will be automatically credited to your account.

EDIT: All players have been made whole.

I have never played a hand properly here but I saw that the unofficial bitcointalk poker tournament was held on this website, which is how I found it,,, I have to admit that the world of poker is a lot more complicated than I knew it to be (I always played normal poker before).

I am definitely checking this place out:)

Came back to the site after 6 month break. Sadly the following bug is still not fixed:

* Enter key doesn't work in notes you write about players.

How hard can it be to fix this? I think it's the 3rd time I am reporting this. Also found this:

* Stakes in hand history are incorrect (twice as large) in hands that don't have a small blind.
* Played a 5 card omaha HILO 1/2 cash game, and there was no hand history file created at all.

There were other issues but don't remember all of them now. Will report more as I play.
Also a question: Is the refactoring finally over?

This house has been around for about 27 years or so.... All kidding aside it is the most known poker website in all of crypto, there have been attempts to dethrone it multiple times but all of the other ones either closed shop or just became nobodies, even the biggest places that open up poker part of their casinos couldn't get enough people to their websites.

SwC has peaked in a point where poker players are not really too rampant in crypto community, there aren't really tens of thousands of them, the amount of dice gamblers is probably 10x more than poker players, so SwC started at the right time and the right place and never scammed anyone so they got like 110% of the crypto poker market. Hopefully they will continue to attract more poker players as well.

Site looks great, guys! Definitely going to hop into the Big BTC Grin this time around.

I have two very, very minor suggestions though:

1) Tournaments that are starting within the next hour should say "In X Minutes" under the Start tab, rather than their actual start time. Showing the countdown might create a sense of urgency and get a few more people to join.

2) I'd like to be able to see my discards in OFC/p.

Again, love what you're doing with the site!

Stay safe everyone  Smiley

SwC is experiencing record traffic the past 2 days. We had an issue that development team is working to understand. Site was quickly restored and tournament was paid out with ICM calculation. SwC has always and will always make players whole for any issue.

No worries, drbeerman in chat told everyone to relax SwC would make it right. He was correct. Glitch popped on this morning and immediately had himself or the SwC team going through logs and crediting users for the errors.

Thanks for getting it taken care of in a timely manner.

I join in the congratulations to the winners! It's great indeed when you get an additional prize out of nowhere. Smiley

I'm wondering, can this feature be added to the tables with smaller stakes, like 1/2 and 2/4, too? I personally wouldn't mind if a small rake was taken out of each pot to fund the jackpot. I understand that the jackpot would be much smaller in that case, yet it would surely add more fun to the game, overall.

What do you, guys, think?

^  Too small at 1/2 - 2/4 imo (that's like nano stakes converted to USD).  But SWC could at least start them at 10/20 (which I have been suggesting) to get some more action going on there and build their poker economy off of that.

drbeerman in chat told everyone to relax SwC would make it right. He was correct. Glitch popped on this morning and immediately had himself or the SwC team going through logs and crediting users for the errors.

Thanks for getting it taken care of in a timely manner.
That is the thing about SwC that not many people realize. There are no big problems here, rarely any trouble ever happens, that is why people do not really know about how well the support actually works because you rarely ever need it. However, when you need it like this, they are super on board and always someone there to help out, support literally works like lightning and they help you out and figure the problem and pay you whenever something wrong happens.

You may not know this because it rarely happens but it is there. They have been around for god knows how many years now, I forgot the first start date of SwC because it has been many many years but I have not seen a single person who had an issue that wasn't fix in less than 24 hours, they are that fast.

I'm wondering, can this feature be added to the tables with smaller stakes, like 1/2 and 2/4, too?

We have considered launching multiple bad beat jackpots. SwC has a lot of work in front of us. Lightning network, new games, new features, and a big update to improve software stability and scalability.
