Sampey,

Perhaps you could 'sell' configurations with CAT, or make it so that people could set up configurations and load them into CAT automatically? This way people can actively participate and help refine the settings for CAT making it more user friendly. Another thing I'd like to note is that people who are afraid of buying CAT because they don't know how to use it would benefit a lot from it.

What do you think?

Hi, i can give FREE suggestions on how to configure a market, explaining with example in the Tips&Tricks reply (the third reply of this topic).
but it's impossible to create an "Universal" configuration, because markets changes everyday  Undecided

Hey sampey, looks like with cryptsy adding the MC1/btc it only allows whole number buy/sells.  Perhaps now would be a good time to implement buy/sell whole coins only into Cat?  Example I spend 3 BTC and purchase 3123.487 catcoins, but with a buy/sell whole coin only I only purchase 3123 coins.  Say I sell them and receive 3129.623 on the ping pong, cat would then only buy sell 3129 again.. Its an Idea I've thought about for a while now but with the cryptsy MC1/btc shares making it a requirement Its a good a time as any to offer it for all of CAT.

Thanks on all the hard work Smiley

If you like what I've posted, mine for me on whatever algo you like on www.zpool.ca for a minute using my bitcoin address: 1BJJYPRcRPzTEfByCwkeJ8SCBcrnGD1nhL

Actually there's a procedure (that work only for NXT) where there's a round to the quantity nearest decimal value.
In the next release i will add a TEXT File where user could insert the coins that needs this round routine.

Next Weekend new version (to allow people works on MN1, and use a XML FIle to set markets without decimal value).
In the next version you can recreate/delete a single order with a right click on the single item Wink

I'm noticing that on some trades I'll enter a ping order and the strike price of that order will change.  I thought it would only change AFTER a pong when the algorithm tries to recalculate a ping order.

If I click "Never recalculate user ping orders" will that keep my original ping orders from changing? Or does that mean that after a pong, my original ping order goes back into the order book?

Option Never Recalculate Ping Orders means : Orders Inserted from the GUI by the user are not recalculated.
Recalculation routine occurs after 5 lookup : C.A.T. check if there's a way to recreate the order in better position.
All Auto-Orders are recalculated if you are running a "Normal Mode Algo".
With "Static-Mode" there's no recalculation.

I'm reorganizing some part of interface API code to prepare C.A.T. to an easy interface with other exchanges.
I must decide how to sell C.A.T. when it will be able to work on more than 1 Site
Ex : Full license, License only for 1-2-3..... exchanger.

And the new name will be C.A.T. = Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader  Wink

Very excited to see this interface with other exchanges.  Which ones are you thinking about including?  Personally, I love it if bter.com and mcxnow.com were available.

These factors are very important :

Number Of Markets
Kind Of Api (I need at least all the functions to make the ping-pong work, no other site have Api better than Cryptsy)
Volume of Markets

If I close C.A.T. and open it later, then "Load Markets PingPong Parameter," will C.A.T. be able to ingest my open orders on Crypsty?

I have about a thousand open orders on C.A.T. and I need to restart my computer.

Actually no  Undecided
Difficulty part is not the "reload" of current orders. Difficult part is load/save all the "old" environment......

Theres a clue in the name of the program - lets put it this way....it begins with C and ends with Y  Cry

In other news, guys check out https://cryptrader.com/. Nice site for monitoring multiple markets. Pulls data from Cryptsy and can also grab your balances via the API.

I Suggest this kind of steps :
- Close all marketks where there are no Ping-Pong/Trade active (you will see empty table).
- Set the rest of markets in "Return All To BTC Mode" or "Retrn all to Alternative Currency Mode"

After that i think you will have less markets working.

Then you can close all cryptsy orders and stop C.A.t.
