any ideas on adding new coins for example; Coin Magi would be a good choice its trading on CryptoNine; i'm sure since its rare and has a mission, it will be on more exchanges, could this be added? if so how long would it take?

Adding new coins?
this is an Exchange BOT, i add Entire Exchange (with dynamic load of all markets).

Is there any plan to add Bitfinex?
Also, could you modify CAT to  recheck  and submit order  no higher than 5 s instead of 40 s that is now? I think I read somewhere about that but not 100% sure if it is 40 s more or less. Thank you and keep up the good work!  Smiley

right but I wasn't sure if it was supported per coin or based on the exchange itself in general.

So if magi is added in bittrex, cryptsy, then this bot would work?

I support Magi the first anti-botnet mining network to give regular miners the fair chance of mining. Talk to #Magi on IRC: https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net/#magi or on BitcoinTalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.0

Of course, today Cryptsy added XRP "Super-Market".
And C.A.T. Looks like this for all C.A.T. 2.1 Users (without change any line of code) :

This looks very promising... but I am a beginner and only have a slight knowledge base on what I am looking at here with your program. Thank you for sharing it.

My question is, for a beginner in crypto trading, is this an advisable product to purchase? Would I be shooting myself in the foot by doing so?

Thanks!.. Yes I read the FAQ and etc, but it is somewhat confusing lol..

Well, C.A.T. doesn't use "Technical" terms, and technical Graphs, so if you are able to trade directly on the exchange you'll be albe to trade with C.A.T.
the only things you need to choose is (if you want) some other parameters like "Never Buy/Sell Under/Over"
And i am always on-line to give support by PM.

So, if you have any question you can PM me  Wink

Bot works very well for me. You just have to create and (or) cancel some orders from time to time. The more time you spend watching the market the better the chances for a gain.

For me ping creation could be a bit more agressive. But all in all I'm happy.

Hi

if CAT is running on 2 different PC's with the same account -> is it trading against itself or if just checked to not buy/sell to yourself is enough?

TIA

Don't run C.A.T. on the Same Market of the same exchange from 2 different PC.
The problem is not the "Buy/Sell to yoursel" (C.A.T. have all your orders list) but the risk to start run against yourself to be the one on top of the orders book.

If there was a webAPI for this I would be so interested. I'm out and about a lot so usually am on Cryptsy from my phone. If I could control C.A.T from my phone...

Hi Guys.
If you're trading on CRYPTSY XRP Market, please change your EXCHANGER.XML FILE into CATSystem -> Cryptsy Folder adding XRP To FIAT Currency (i know it's not fiat but the behaviour is the same)

Complete XML FIle Looks Like This

Quote
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
<EXCHANGER>

<NODECIMALCURRENCY>
<NODEC></NODEC>
</NODECIMALCURRENCY>

<FIATCURRENCY>
<FIATC>XRP</FIATC>
</FIATCURRENCY>

<FEES>
<SELLFEES>0.25</SELLFEES>
<BUYFEES>0.25</BUYFEES>
</FEES>

<OTHER>
<MINTOTALORDER>0.00000011</MINTOTALORDER>
</OTHER>

</EXCHANGER>
