ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork?

I don't believe that this year's Ethereum will restore its price to $1,000. This is hard to happen. Just hardfork is not enough，and it needs more good news about crypto. The price of Ethereum has dropped so much in 2018, it will good to recover half of its price in 2019.

Yes we might see a pull back from a pump but it will be recovered after few weeks,but then eth blockchain will be more secure and fast so we can see more transactions in this year.we can expect a price between 150-225$ in upcoming months if everything goes well but if whale start manipulating to increase their holding then we can see a dip.

I have 2 different opinions:

1. If the hard fork is coinciding with the bullish market, I'm sure the price towards the fork will rise significantly. So, reaching $1000 is not impossible.
2. However, if the market conditions are still in bearish, ETH hard fork will not have the major influence on the price of ETH itself, the maximum price towards the fork is only up to $450.

ETH needs to break $200 first and then break the next higher price. It could be possible to see ethereum rise until $1000 but not for a short time. People are waiting for the next update of ethereum, and they hope the next update will bring good news to them and it will trigger the price to increase more. But so far, if we analyze the increasing of ethereum, it shows to us that ethereum still have fans and many of them still make ethereum as their favorite coin. So the price might get an increase in the long run.

because after all eth is the strongest coin after BTC, and I believe that.
and even the new news says that eth prices will be half the price of btc.

One can hardly say ethereum can get back to 1000usd after the fork or ethereum will be half the price of btc.. ethereum is still struggling to catch up to the price of bitcoin cash

actually, I'm always optimistic about the price of bitcoin, and don't think that the price will go down. well, even though it happened, I think it's still a long time ago, even now people still use and develop bitcoin. I feel that prices will continue to grow in the decreasing trend.

I think that with all confidence, no one will answer this question but if we assume that the demand for a rigid fork will be any hoisting maybe he can reach from the level of 1 000 $

I think that the price you indicated is perfectly achievable by  ETH's but it still takes a little patience. The platform is developing in terms of scalability and usability, with results difficult to achieve by other competitors. Sooner or later these results will also be seen in terms of economic value.

1k at this time does not look possible when bitcoin price is at $4000, so ethereum will be 0.25btc, Not possible. Even If it does the price will be the architect of its dump again in just few hours. Most holders will prefer to shift to bitcoin immediately they see the price, taking profit in btc than holding the coin for further pump.

with crypto anything is possible so ETH raising thousand is really possible but i can tell you that you should  expect that later not soon!  ETH is really doing his best but raising to  even $300 can never happen soon !!

it seems that it will be very difficult because if hardfork happens ethereum price increases will not be that expensive if there are no supporters of some other coins like bitcoin, if bitcoin rises then ethereum when hardfork will also be easy to price $ 1000 again.

Of course ETH could yet again attain a price value of 1000 USD, but It won't be just right after the hardfork. Obviously the trend has been great recently but there is still a lot needed from ETH before it could get back to at least 1000 USD again. The upcoming forks and update is good start but, I don't think the update and forks alone will trigger such a tremendous increase if the whole market is still in a rather stabilizing mode.

This is just an assumption, but if it is, then we can assume that before the hardforks the price for ETH will be lowered as low as possible to purchase.

I think so, its not easy for ETH to go back on its peak and make a new one even if a lot of hardfork happen this month. We should take this one through the  process and there is no need for us to become impatient. The future is still good, ETH will still be on the top so keep on buying and don’t stop from doing that, it will be worth it as you wait for that moment patiently.

ethereum can certainly reach the price of 1000 $, but not for the near future. it's too impossible for me. to be able to fully recover to the price of 300 $ is good enough for ethereum

Yes, even it will be hitting a new ATH in terms of BTC value it will value around $400 as bitcoin is trading at its bottoms. But many people are predicting about a sharp downfall of markets on the occasion of hard fork which may be similar to how BCH suffered on its hardfork of satoshi vision. So, I am expecting ethereum to trade one more time below $80 price levels. In BTC value, experts are speculating anything below 0.02BTC for one ethereum is still possible. Lets wait and watch.

Yes, this is what exactly speculated by many crypto experts as most investors will not prefer to hold an asset which is going for a technical maintenance as anything technically may happen. I am personally waiting for buying few more around $65 price levels. It may available for even cheaper which is purely dependent on BTC prices.

It should be taken into account that the market still shows small outbreaks of positive trends that have not been fixed. On the other hand, will the scalability issues in the Ethereum network be solved, which lead to high fees and longer waiting times for transaction confirmations. This will significantly restrain Ethereum's growth in the near future, so $ 1000 is not yet achievable.
