I think it's first rise past $1,000 was based mainly on hype for the platform and of the crypto space in general. So next time it goes to $1K it'll have to EARN that valuation and really be worth that much based off of its usefulness.

Returning to $1000 is unlikely this year because it will take more time before it happen again. The upcoming hardfork of ethereum might temporarily rise its price up but it may decline after the fork is done. I think ethereum growth can still reach another height in the years to come after its update to ethereum 2.0 next year and I also believe there will be more DAPP projects that may support its goals.

see good news about eth which always appears every day, some people think that eth will go up to 1000 usd, but will this happen?
because after all eth is the strongest coin after BTC, and I believe that.
and even the new news says that eth prices will be half the price of btc.
Well, in order to achieve such a value, at the same time as a successful launch of the hardfork, a bull market should start also. Then maybe we will see $1000 price. |

I don't think hardfork can help bring Ethereum back its price. Perhaps we will see a slight increase in the price, but obviously not to$1000. He's not ready to come back yet.
Yeah, this is just another hype with ETH though I support this coin but for me its too high to reach that level again. We are not in a bull market so I don't think ETH will that level. Don't expect too much from the hardfork, its still not sure to help the market of ETH up so be on sideways where you are ready for anything and if the price of ETH dumps again, you will not be panic because you are well prepared for it. |

Although, we do not need any bull run for eth to get back to $1000, but there must be consistent development. Which is one of the factors that make a project or coin to grow in an organic manner.

I bet the altcoin will grow before the fork, close to the middle of January. It can continue gaining after the fork as well, but soon, the growth will be stopped. And no, Ethereum will be not able to reach a thousand.

ETH has big potential to going up to the highest price again but not in a few days, need longer times can be next year. The technology will upgrade and become much better than now. In the long term crypto market will be huge and the total market cap will going up to multi trilliun dollar and when that happen the price of ETH possible to going up surpass $1200.

The possibility of ethereum returning to $1000 is very high but i do not think it will be immediately after the hardfork. My technical analysis done on the current market tells me that there are two major sides forming...It's either we see a massive gain or we remain at low prices through out the 2019 year. This will be determined by the major events such as ETFs and hardforks of the 2019 year. I wish all these bring positive results to the crypto world.

If ETH can boost their transaction at least 10.000 transactions per second, the probability for ETH to reach its own ATH again in the future is high. But if it only boosts the blockchain 10 times or less than that, it is very hard for it to reach its own ATH again. because the competitor right now, could deal 1000 transactions per second or even more than that.

Ethereum price increased only due to market correction and expectation of Ethereum update. I think the maximum price for Ethereum next week is $ 180.

goes back to $800 billion and BTC to $18k then ETH will overpass it`s ATH at $1.4k
In crypto everything is possible and the situations can change very fast, hopefully into bullish.

Yes it is possible here in this market but Ethereum never overtakes Bitcoin places. Bitcoin dominance is still over %50. So people still trust in Bitcoin even it fallen to 1/5. |
